But for specific answers regarding moving a automobile to or from Arlington, Texas, read on.
Our steps to scheduling the transport of your automobile is simple. It can be divided into three parts.
1) PRELIMINARY STEPS TO CAR SHIPPING
What’s the process for transporting my car from Arlington, Texas? Great question. Our first step is to book your transport so your transport team can start planning the most ideal transport for your automobile.
They do have to take into consideration the size, weight, height and type of carrier you are requesting, which primarily are open and closed options.
We will need basic information about your shipment like the VIN number, year, make and model of each auto you are moving. This tells us the information we need to properly move your vehicle on a truck.
We will provide you a free transport quote that includes all the costs required to ship your car from origin to the drop off point. Our quotes are guaranteed and do not change for any reason unless you make changes to your auto transport.
2) CAR PICK UP
The 2nd step in the process is pick up of the auto. In almost all cases, we will pick up at your doorstep in Arlington, Texas and deliver to the specific destination provided when you booked your shipping.
The most common factors that we deal with when picking up from a particular place are local laws on driving a transporter into the neighborhood. If there are no regulations regarding driving a truck then we pick up from the destination you gave us when you booked your transport.
Once your driver arrives, you will do a inspection of the automobile with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that designates any existing chips, damage or dings. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Arlington, Texas. Once it’s loaded in the truck the driver will start their journey to the next stop.
Because a driver moves more than on auto at a time, he/she may have multiple pick ups and drop offs to make prior to your car reaching its final destination.
3) AUTO DELIVERY
As the time nears for your auto to arrive, your driver will call you. It is difficult for a transporter to know exactly when they will arrive before they get closer to the drop off point because of the many elements that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long drivers can actually be on the road.
Normally, you should hear from your carrier typically within the last 24 hours before your vehicle is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our customers as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will arrive until just a few hours before they get to their destination.
When the vehicle transporter arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was done when the vehicle was picked up. The transporter will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare existing damage identified during your pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure everything is great and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.
So transporting your auto to or from Arlington, Texas can be a reasonably easy process. We always strive to ensure to make the entire experience pleasant for every client.

Contacted Joe needed to transport my SUV from MD to ATL. Joe took my info and said he would call as soon as he dispatch a driver in several hours he contacted me said he can have my car pickup up that next day Friday and delivered on Saturday. The Driver call right away before the pickup and after. He was very quick and professional.
We found a great company
I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.
Don't make the same mistake that i did...
I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!
I booked, they picked up and delivered. Everything went smooth and i have noting but good things to say about this company.
Very happy with the service!
Great experience from the first call to the delivery of my vehicle. I read a lot of reviews before i chose United. I went with them because nobody had anything bad to say about this company.
Customer service – awesome
Price – average
Pickup – everything went smooth and driver did a great job!
Delivery – driver called the day before and gave me a time and he showed up as he said he would.
Totally recommend this company!
