Most of the frequently asked questions regarding shipping your automobile are identified in our car shipping blog. It is our goal to answer every question you may have about relocating your vehicle no matter where it’s headed.

But for specific answers regarding moving a automobile to or from Aurora, Colorado, read on.

Our process to booking the shipment of your automobile is streamlined. It can be summed up into three parts.

What’s the process for transporting my vehicle from Aurora, Colorado? Great question. Our first step is to book your move so your transport team can start planning the most ideal transport for your car.

They do have to consider the size, weight, height and type of truck you are scheduling, which primarily are open and closed options.

We will need general information about your automobile like the VIN number, year, make and model of each auto you are moving. This tells us the information we need to properly assign your vehicle on a transporter.

We will provide you a free shipping quote that is all-inclusive of everything required to move your automobile from pick up to delivery. Our prices are guaranteed and do not fluctuate for any reason unless changes are made to your shipment.

The second step in the process is pick up of the vehicle. In almost all cases, we do pick up at your location in Aurora, Colorado and deliver to the specified destination provided when you booked your transport.

The only things that we deal with when picking up from a neighborhood are local laws on driving a truck into the area. If there are no regulations regarding driving a transporter then we pick up from the address you provided when you booked your transport.

Once your driver arrives, you will do a walk around of the automobile with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that designates any existing chips, damage or dents. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Aurora, Colorado. Once it’s loaded in the carrier the driver will start their journey to the next destination.

Because a transporter delivers more than on vehicle at a time, he/she may have multiple pick ups and deliveries to make before your car arriving at its final destination.

As the time gets closer for your car to arrive, your driver will contact you. It is difficult for a transporter to know precisely when they will arrive before they get closer to the drop off point because of the many variables that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long transporters can actually be on the road.

Normally, you should be contacted by your carrier typically within the last 24 hours before your car is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our customers as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will arrive until just a few hours before they get to their destination.

When the car carrier arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was done when the auto was picked up. The driver will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare existing dings and dents identified during the pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure everything is great and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.

So transporting your auto to or from Aurora, Colorado can be a fairly effortless process. We always strive to do all we can to make the entire process pleasant for every customer.

Why should I ship my car to Aurora, Colorado?

Driving your auto may not be the most practical way to transport your vehicle to another location. It puts high miles on your vehicle. Depending on the miles you will travel, there can be a lot of wear and tear — and just imagine if it needs maintenance while you’re on your way.

Unforseen breakdowns can cost far more what it would have cost you to have a professional carrier relocate it for you. Not to mention, the days it adds to your drive.

That’s why we offer easy door-to-door delivery for all our customers.

I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!
