Most of the concerns regarding moving your automobile are identified in our car shipping blog. It is our pursuit to help you with every question you have about relocating your automobile no matter where it’s destination may be.

But for specific answers regarding shipping a car to or from Chula Vista, California, read on.

Our procedure to booking the delivery of your automobile is streamlined. It can be divided into three parts.

What’s the process for shipping my car from Chula Vista, California? Great question. Our first step is to schedule your transport so your move team can start searching the most ideal transport for your car.

They do have to take into consideration the size, weight, height and type of carrier you are scheduling, which primarily are open and closed carriers.

We will need general information about your vehicle like the VIN number, year, make and model of each vehicle you are moving. This tells us the details we need to properly place your vehicle on a carrier.

We will give you a free transport quote that is all-inclusive of the entire expense required to move your vehicle from origin to delivery. Our prices are guaranteed and do not fluctuate for any reason unless you make changes to your auto transport.

The second step in the process is pick up of the car. In almost all cases, we do pick up at your home in Chula Vista, California and deliver to the specified destination we were given when you booked your transport.

The most common issues that we run into when picking up from a residential address are local laws on getting a big rig into the neighborhood. If there are no regulations regarding driving a truck then we pick up from the address you provided when you booked your transport.

Once your driver arrives, you will do a inspection of the vehicle with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that identifies any existing chips, damage or dents. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Chula Vista, California. Once it’s loaded in the transporter the driver will start the journey to the next destination.

Because a carrier moves more than on vehicle at a time, he/she may have more pick ups and drop offs to make before your car arriving at its final destination.

As the time gets closer for your vehicle to arrive, your driver will contact you. It is difficult for a carrier to know exactly when they will arrive before they get closer to the destination because of the many elements that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long transporters can actually be on the road.

Normally, you should be contacted by your transporter typically within the last 24 hours before your vehicle is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our clients as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will get there until just a few hours before they get to their destination.

When the vehicle transporter arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was done when the auto was picked up. The transporter will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare existing damage marked during your pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure the car looks good and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.

So moving your vehicle to or from Chula Vista, California can be a reasonably easy process. We always strive to make sure to make the entire experience pleasant for every customer.

Why should I ship my car to Chula Vista, California?

Driving your auto may not be the most practical way to transport your vehicle to another city. It puts many miles on your vehicle. Depending on the distance you will move it, there can be a lot of wear and tear — and imagine if it something breaks down while you’re on your way.

Untimely malfunctions can cost far more what it will cost you to have an experienced carrier move it for you. Not to mention, the days it adds to your trip.

I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!

Chula Vista (/ˌtʃuːlə ˈvɪstə/; English: beautiful view[11][12] ) is the second largest city in the San Diego metropolitan area, the seventh largest city in Southern California, the fourteenth largest city in the state of California, and the 74th-largest city in the United States. The population was 243,916 as of the 2010 census.[9]

Located just 7.5 miles (12.1 km) from downtown San Diego and 7.5 miles (12.1 km) from the Mexican border in the South Bay region of the metropolitan area, the city is at the center of one of the richest economic and culturally diverse zones in the United States. Chula Vista is so named because of its scenic location between the San Diego Bay and coastal mountain foothills.
