Most of the concerns regarding shipping your vehicle are answered in our car shipping blog. It is our goal to help you with every question you may have about shipping your vehicle no matter where it’s headed.
But for specific answers regarding moving a vehicle to or from Cincinnati, Ohio, read on.
Our procedure to scheduling the shipment of your automobile is very simple. It can be summed up into 3 steps.
1) PRELIMINARY STEPS TO AUTOMOBILE SHIPPING
What’s the process for transporting my car from Cincinnati, Ohio? Great question. The first step is to book your transport so your move team can start planning the best move for your automobile.
They do have to take into account the size, weight, height and type of transporter you are needing, which typically are open and closed trucks.
We will need basic information about your automobile like the VIN number, year, make and model of each vehicle you are transporting. This tells us the information we need to properly move your vehicle on a transporter.
We will provide you a free shipping quote that is all-inclusive of all the costs required to ship your automobile from pick up to delivery. Our quotes are guaranteed and do not change for any reason unless you make changes to your shipment.
2) AUTO PICK UP
The second step in the process is pick up of the auto. In almost all cases, we will pick up at your home in Cincinnati, Ohio and deliver to the designated destination provided when you booked your move.
The only factors that we run into when picking up from a home are local laws on getting a big rig into the neighborhood. If there are no limitations regarding driving a big rig then we pick up from the address you provided when you scheduled your transport.
Once your driver arrives, you will do a inspection of the car with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that specifies any existing chips, damage or dings. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Cincinnati, Ohio. Once it’s loaded on the carrier the driver will start their journey to the next stop.
Because a transporter moves more than on vehicle at a time, he/she may have multiple pick ups and deliveries to make prior to your car arriving at its final destination.
3) AUTO DELIVERY
As the time gets closer for your car to arrive, your carrier will contact you. It is difficult for a driver to know precisely when they will arrive before they get closer to the destination because of the many variables that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long transporters can actually be on the road.
Normally, you should be contacted by your transporter typically within the last 24 hours before your car is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our clients as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will arrive until just a few hours before they get to their destination.
When the auto transporter arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was done when the vehicle was picked up. The driver will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare existing damage marked during the pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure the car looks good and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.
So moving your auto to or from Cincinnati, Ohio can be a reasonably effortless process. We always strive to ensure to make the entire experience pleasant for every client.

We found a great company
I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.
Don't make the same mistake that i did...
I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!
I booked, they picked up and delivered. Everything went smooth and i have noting but good things to say about this company.
Very happy with the service!

Customer service – awesome
Price – average
Pickup – everything went smooth and driver did a great job!
Delivery – driver called the day before and gave me a time and he showed up as he said he would.
Totally recommend this company!
Cincinnati (/ˌsɪnsɪˈnæti/ SIN-sih-NAT-ee) is a major city in the U.S. state of Ohio, and is the government seat of Hamilton County. Settled in 1788, the city is located at the northern side of the confluence of the Licking and Ohio rivers, the latter of which marks the state line with Kentucky. The city drives the Cincinnati–Middletown–Wilmington combined statistical area, which had a population of 2,172,191 in the 2010 census making it Ohio's largest metropolitan area. With a population of 296,943, Cincinnati is the third-largest city in Ohio and 65th in the United States. Its metropolitan area is the fastest growing economic power in the Midwestern United States based on increase of economic output and it is the 28th-largest metropolitan statistical area in the U.S. Cincinnati is also within a day's drive of 49.70% of the United States populace.
In the nineteenth century, Cincinnati was an American boomtown in the middle of the country. Throughout much of the 19th century, it was listed among the top 10 U.S. cities by population, surpassed only by New Orleans and the older, established settlements of the United States eastern seaboard, as well as being the sixth-biggest city for a period spanning 1840 until 1860. As Cincinnati was the first city founded after the American Revolution, as well as the first major inland city in the country, it is regarded as the first purely "American" city.[not in citation given]
