But for specific answers regarding transporting a car to or from Colorado Springs, Colorado, read on.

Our steps to scheduling the shipment of your automobile is simple. It can be divided into three steps.

What’s the process for moving my car from Colorado Springs, Colorado? Great question. The first thing is to schedule your transport so your move team can start planning the most ideal transport for your vehicle.

They do have to consider the size, weight, height and type of transporter you are requesting, which primarily are open and closed options.

We will need general information about your vehicle like the VIN number, year, make and model of each car you are moving. This provides the information we need to properly place your vehicle on a truck.

We will give you a free transport quote that is all-inclusive of the entire expense required to move your automobile from pick up to the drop off point. Our quotes are guaranteed and do not increase for any reason unless changes are made to your auto transport.

The 2nd step in the process is pick up of the car. In almost all cases, we will pick up at your doorstep in Colorado Springs, Colorado and deliver to the designated destination we were given when you booked your move.

The most common issues that come up when picking up from a residential address are local limitations on driving a transporter into the neighborhood. If there are no regulations regarding driving a transporter then we pick up from the location you gave us when you scheduled your transport.

Once your transporter arrives, you will do a inspection of the vehicle with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that designates any existing chips, damage or dents. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Colorado Springs, Colorado. Once it’s loaded in the transporter the driver will start their journey to the next destination.

Because a carrier delivers more than on car at a time, he/she may have other pick ups and deliveries to make prior to your car arriving at its final destination.

As the time gets closer for your auto to arrive, your transporter will call you. It is difficult for a transporter to know exactly when they will arrive before they get closer to the drop off point because of the many elements that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long transporters can actually be on the road.

Normally, you should hear from your driver typically within the last 24 hours before your car is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our clients as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will get there until just a few hours before they get to their destination.

When the auto carrier arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was completed when the auto was picked up. The transporter will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare existing dings and dents marked during the pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure the car looks good and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.

So shipping your vehicle to or from Colorado Springs, Colorado can be a fairly easy process. We always strive to do all we can to make the entire process pleasant for every client.

I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!
