Most of the concerns regarding moving your automobile are clarified in our car shipping blog. It is our mission to help you with every question you have about relocating your car no matter where it’s destination may be.

But for specific answers regarding transporting a vehicle to or from Corpus Christi, Texas, read on.

Our steps to scheduling the transport of your automobile is very simple. It can be divided into three parts.

What’s the process for transporting my car from Corpus Christi, Texas? Great question. Our first step is to book your move so your transport team can start planning the most ideal transport for your automobile.

They do have to take into consideration the size, weight, height and type of carrier you are scheduling, which most customarily are open and closed options.

We will need basic information about your car like the VIN number, year, make and model of each auto you are shipping. This provides the information we need to properly move your vehicle on a carrier.

We will give you a free shipping quote that is all-inclusive of all the costs required to move your vehicle from origin to delivery. Our quotes are guaranteed and do not increase for any reason unless changes are made to your car transport.

The second step in the process is the pick up of your vehicle. In almost all cases, we will pick up at your home in Corpus Christi, Texas and deliver to the final destination provided when you booked your shipping.

The only things that we deal with when picking up from a residential address are local limitations on driving a truck into the area. If there are no issues regarding driving a transporter then we pick up from the destination you provided when you scheduled your transport.

Once your driver arrives, you will do a walk around of the car with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that identifies any existing chips, damage or dings. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Corpus Christi, Texas. Once it’s loaded in the truck the driver will start their journey to the next stop.

Because a transporter delivers more than on car at a time, he/she may have multiple pick ups and drop offs to make prior to your car reaching its final destination.

As the time gets closer for your car to arrive, your carrier will contact you. It is difficult for a transporter to know exactly when they will arrive before they get closer to the drop off point because of the many influences that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long drivers can actually be on the road.

Normally, you should be contacted by your carrier typically within the last 24 hours before your auto is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our clients as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will get there until just a few hours before they get to their destination.

When the auto transporter arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was completed when the vehicle was picked up. The transporter will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare pre-existing dents and dings marked during your pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure the car looks good and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.

So shipping your car to or from Corpus Christi, Texas can be a reasonably effortless process. We always strive to make sure to make the entire process pleasant for every client.

I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!
