But for specific answers regarding shipping a car to or from El Paso, Texas, read on.

Our steps to booking the shipment of your vehicle is very simple. It can be broken down into 3 parts.

What’s the process for transporting my car from El Paso, Texas? Great question. Our first step is to schedule your move so your transport team can start looking the best move for your automobile.

They do have to take into account the size, weight, height and type of truck you are requesting, which most customarily are open and closed trucks.

We will need general details about your automobile like the VIN number, year, make and model of each auto you are transporting. This provides the details we need to properly move your vehicle on a truck.

We will provide you a free shipping quote that includes all the costs required to ship your vehicle from origin to your destination. Our quotes are guaranteed and do not fluctuate for any reason unless there are changes made to your shipment.

The second step in the process is the pick up of your car. In almost all cases, we will pick up at your home in El Paso, Texas and deliver to the specified destination you gave us when you booked your move.

The only issues that we run into when picking up from a specific location are local limitations on getting a transporter into the neighborhood. If there are no limitations regarding driving a transporter then we pick up from the address you provided when you scheduled your transport.

Once your driver arrives, you will do a walk around of the automobile with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that designates any existing chips, damage or dents. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from El Paso, Texas. Once it’s loaded on the truck the driver will start their journey to the next destination.

Because a driver delivers more than on vehicle at a time, he/she may have other pick ups and drop offs to make prior to your car reaching its final destination.

As the time gets closer for your auto to arrive, your transporter will contact you. It is difficult for a driver to know precisely when they will arrive before they get closer to the destination because of the many influences that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long drivers can actually be on the road.

Normally, you should be contacted by your carrier typically within the last 24 hours before your vehicle is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our customers as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will get there until just a few hours before they get to their destination.

When the auto transporter arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was completed when the auto was picked up. The transporter will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare existing dents and dings marked during the pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure everything is great and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.

So transporting your auto to or from El Paso, Texas can be a reasonably effortless process. We always strive to do all we can to make the entire experience pleasant for every customer.

I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!
