Florida Car Shipping Services

United's network of skilled drivers provide both open and enclosed auto transport services to and from the great state of Florida.

The most frequently asked questions people have when looking for the best car shipping company in Florida are largely about about how much and how the car is moved. I’m going to answer those questions right now.

How Much Does It Cost to Ship My Car To or From Florida?

The typical price to ship a vehicle within the United States will depend on the kind of trailer you favor open or enclosed, how far it's going, and your pick up and delivery preferences. It costs approximately $2.50 per mile to ship a car less than 200 miles, however costs around 75 cents a mile to move a standard automobile 1,000 miles or more.

Some of the things to consider include:

• how far the vehicle must be transported
• the most acceptable time to move your vehicle
• current cost for diesel
• availability and demand for transporters

Your Quote

The quote you get from us will always include all costs required to transport your auto. Other car transport companies will quote a low price just to get your signature on a contract only to increase the price after you’ve given a deposit, or worse, when your car is being picked up.

Our bids are all-inclusive and only change if you make alterations that increase the cost. Internet quote forms can only estimate your real transport costs so it’s always best to speak directly to the car shipping company yourself.

Open and Enclosed Carrier Transport

There are several types of shipping carriers that move our client's vehicles to and from Florida. We offer both open and enclosed transporters to serve the many needs of our customers. Below you’ll find a detailed list of the benefits of both.

Open Transports

Open vehicle transport simply means moving your car on a carrier that does not provide any enclosure to shield it from everyday environmental elements. This is the way most cars are delivered to car dealerships. It is also the most popular type of transporter on the road and a practical way to move your vehicle.

There are more open carriers available than any other type of transporter so that makes open transport the cheapest way to transport your vehicle. This also means we have more open transporters traveling through Florida at any given time so pickup times are often more flexible.

Enclosed Auto Transporters

Moving your auto in an enclosed carrier will give you the ultimate confidence. As the name suggests, enclosed auto carriers provide the greatest level of protection from weather, elements, rocks or any other threat.

As a bonus, enclosed auto transporters typically have more experience with specialty vehicles. The most common cars shipped in an enclosed carrier are antique, collectible or classic motorcycles and cars. They also transport:

• autos from car auctions
• vintage race cars
• auto show transport
• exotic auto show transport
• antique and classic cars (as I mentioned above)

The cost of moving a car on an enclosed carrier is greater because there are fewer enclosed trucks on the road and they can not move as many autos on their truck as an open carrier can.

Motorcycle Shipping To or From Florida

Motorcycle Shipping by UnitedWe do also offer motorcycle and bike shipping across the nation and internationally. We also ship dirt bikes and ATVs door-to-door to almost any location worldwide. Normally motorcycles are transported in an enclosed truck.

So request a quote now! Our transport team is ready to answer any questions you have and help you move your auto to or from Florida.

No Deposit Required

Some companies will require a deposit prior to your car being picked up. We do not. We work hard to arrange your move and don’t request payment until your driver is on their way. This ensures you are only charged the price you agreed to and no tricky scams because we stick to the quote we provide to transport your vehicle.

No matter what you need to move your vehicle to/from Florida, UNITED's auto transport team will provide you with great customer service, and safe, reliable auto transport services no matter where we deliver for you.

Thanks Joe
Contacted Joe needed to transport my SUV from MD to ATL. Joe took my info and said he would call as soon as he dispatch a driver in several hours he contacted me said he can have my car pickup up that next day Friday and delivered on Saturday. The Driver call right away before the pickup and after. He was very quick and professional.

Don't make the same mistake that i did...

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!
