But for specific answers regarding moving a automobile to or from Fresno, California, read on.

Our procedure to scheduling the shipment of your car is streamlined. It can be summed up into 3 parts.

What’s the process for transporting my car from Fresno, California? Great question. The first step is to schedule your move so your move team can start looking the most ideal transport for your car.

They do have to take into consideration the size, weight, height and type of transporter you are scheduling, which primarily are open and closed trucks.

We will need general details about your automobile like the VIN number, year, make and model of each auto you are shipping. This tells us the details we need to properly assign your vehicle on a transporter.

We will provide you a free transport quote that is all-inclusive of everything required to ship your car from origin to delivery. Our prices are guaranteed and will not change for any reason unless you make changes to your car transport.

The second step in the process is the pick up of your car. In almost all cases, we will pick up at your location in Fresno, California and deliver to the specific destination you gave us when you booked your shipping.

The only factors that we run into when picking up from a particular place are local regulations on getting a transporter into the neighborhood. If there are no issues regarding driving a transporter then we pick up from the location you gave us when you scheduled your transport.

Once your transporter arrives, you will do a walk around of the car with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that designates any existing chips, damage or dings. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Fresno, California. Once it’s loaded in the carrier the driver will start the journey to the next stop.

Because a driver delivers more than on vehicle at a time, he/she may have more pick ups and deliveries to make before your car arriving at its final destination.

As the time nears for your vehicle to arrive, your transporter will call you. It is difficult for a carrier to know precisely when they will arrive before they get closer to the destination because of the many variables that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long drivers can actually be on the road.

Normally, you should be contacted by your transporter typically within the last 24 hours before your auto is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our customers as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will arrive until just a few hours before they get to their destination.

When the car transporter arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was done when the vehicle was picked up. The transporter will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare pre-existing damage marked during your pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure everything is great and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.

So transporting your vehicle to or from Fresno, California can be a reasonably effortless process. We always strive to do all we can to make the entire process pleasant for every customer.

I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!

Fresno (/ˈfrɛznoʊ/ FREZ-noh; Spanish for "ash tree") is a city in California, United States, and the county seat of Fresno County. It covers about 112 square miles (290 km2)[12] in the center of the San Joaquin Valley, the southern portion of California's Central Valley.

Named for the abundant ash trees lining the San Joaquin River, Fresno was founded in 1872 as a railway station of the Central Pacific Railroad before it was incorporated in 1885. The city has since become an economic hub of Fresno County and the San Joaquin Valley, with much of the surrounding areas in the Metropolitan Fresno region predominantly tied to large-scale agricultural production.
