Most of the concerns regarding moving your vehicle are identified in our car shipping blog. It is our goal to help you with every question you may have about shipping your vehicle no matter where it’s headed.
But for specific answers regarding transporting a automobile to or from Henderson, Nevada, read on.
Our steps to booking the delivery of your automobile is very simple. It can be summed up into 3 steps.
1) PRELIMINARY STEPS TO CAR SHIPPING
What’s the process for transporting my vehicle from Henderson, Nevada? Great question. The first thing is to book your move so your move team can start planning the best move for your vehicle.
They do have to consider the size, weight, height and type of carrier you are scheduling, which primarily are open and closed options.
We will need basic information about your shipment like the VIN number, year, make and model of each vehicle you are moving. This tells us the details we need to properly place your vehicle on a transporter.
We will provide you a free shipping quote that includes all the costs required to ship your vehicle from origin to delivery. Our quotes are guaranteed and will not change for any reason unless changes are made to your auto transport.
2) AUTO PICK UP
The second step in the process is pick up of your auto. In almost all cases, we do pick up at your location in Henderson, Nevada and deliver to the specific destination provided when you booked your move.
The only issues that come up when picking up from a specific location are local limitations on getting a big rig into the area. If there are no problems regarding driving a truck then we pick up from the address you provided when you scheduled your transport.
Once your driver arrives, you will do a walk around of the vehicle with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that specifies any existing chips, damage or dings. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Henderson, Nevada. Once it’s loaded on the truck the driver will start their journey to the next stop.
Because a driver moves more than on car at a time, he/she may have multiple pick ups and deliveries to make before your car arriving at its final destination.
3) CAR DELIVERY
As the time gets closer for your auto to arrive, your carrier will contact you. It is difficult for a carrier to know precisely when they will arrive before they get closer to the destination because of the many variables that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long drivers can actually be on the road.
Normally, you should be contacted by your driver typically within the last 24 hours before your car is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our clients as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will arrive until just a few hours before they get to their destination.
When the auto transporter arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was done when the car was picked up. The transporter will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare pre-existing damage marked during the pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure the car looks good and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.
So moving your car to or from Henderson, Nevada can be a fairly easy process. We always strive to do all we can to make the entire process pleasant for every customer.

We found a great company
I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.
Don't make the same mistake that i did...
I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!
I booked, they picked up and delivered. Everything went smooth and i have noting but good things to say about this company.
Very happy with the service!

Pickup – everything went smooth and driver did a great job!
Delivery – driver called the day before and gave me a time and he showed up as he said he would.
Totally recommend this company!
Henderson, officially the City of Henderson, is a city in Clark County, Nevada, United States, about 16 miles (26 km) southeast of Las Vegas. It is the second-largest city in Nevada, after Las Vegas, with an estimated population of 302,539 in 2017. The city is part of the Las Vegas metropolitan area, which spans the entire Las Vegas Valley. Henderson occupies the southeastern end of the valley, at an elevation of 1,864 feet (568 m).
The township of Henderson first emerged in the 1940s during World War II with the building of the Basic Magnesium Plant. Henderson quickly became the main supplier of magnesium in the United States, which was called the "miracle metal" of World War II. The plant supplied the US War Department with magnesium for incendiary munition casings and airplane engines, frames, and other parts. A quarter of all US wartime magnesium came from the Henderson Plant to strengthen aluminum, using 25% of Hoover Dam's power to separate the metal from its ore by electrolysis. Mayor Jim Gibson's grandfather, Fred D. Gibson, was one of the original engineers sent to Great Britain to learn the secret of creating the "miracle metal" which would help the United States and its allies win the war. The British liaison officer sent to Henderson, Major Charles Ball, had a street named after him. There was some concern "Ball St," would sound improper, so the street was named "Major Avenue".
