But for specific answers regarding transporting a car to or from Honolulu, Hawaii, read on.

Our steps to scheduling the transport of your automobile is streamlined. It can be summed up into three parts.

What’s the process for shipping my car from Honolulu, Hawaii? Great question. The first thing is to schedule your transport so your transport team can start planning the most ideal transport for your vehicle.

They do have to take into account the size, weight, height and type of transporter you are needing, which typically are open and closed options.

We will need basic details about your automobile like the VIN number, year, make and model of each car you are shipping. This provides the details we need to properly move your vehicle on a transporter.

We will give you a free transport quote that includes everything required to ship your car from pick up to delivery. Our quotes are guaranteed and do not increase for any reason unless changes are made to your shipment.

The second step in the process is pick up of your vehicle. In almost all cases, we will pick up at your home in Honolulu, Hawaii and deliver to the designated destination we were given when you booked your shipping.

The most common things that we deal with when picking up from a home are local laws on getting a truck into the neighborhood. If there are no problems regarding driving a truck then we pick up from the location you provided when you scheduled your transport.

Once your driver arrives, you will do a walk around of the vehicle with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that identifies any existing chips, damage or dings. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Honolulu, Hawaii. Once it’s loaded in the transporter the driver will start their journey to the next stop.

Because a driver moves more than on vehicle at a time, he/she may have other pick ups and deliveries to make prior to your car reaching its final destination.

As the time gets closer for your car to arrive, your driver will contact you. It is difficult for a carrier to know exactly when they will arrive before they get closer to the drop off point because of the many variables that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long transporters can actually be on the road.

Normally, you should be contacted by your carrier typically within the last 24 hours before your car is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our customers as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will get there until just a few hours before they get to their destination.

When the car transporter arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was done when the car was picked up. The driver will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare existing dings and dents marked during the pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure the car looks good and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.

So transporting your auto to or from Honolulu, Hawaii can be a fairly easy process. We always strive to do all we can to make the entire experience pleasant for every customer.

I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!

Honolulu (/ˌhɒnəˈluːluː/;[6]Hawaiian: [honoˈlulu]) is the capital and largest city of the U.S. state of Hawaiʻi. It is an unincorporated part of and the county seat of the City and County of Honolulu along the southeast coast of the island of Oʻahu.[a] The city is the main gateway to Hawaiʻi and a major portal into the United States. The city is also a major hub for international business, military defense, as well as famously being host to a diverse variety of east-west and Pacific culture, cuisine, and traditions.

Honolulu is the most remote city of its size in the world[8] and is the westernmost and southernmost major U.S. city. For statistical purposes, the United States Census Bureau recognizes the approximate area commonly referred to as "City of Honolulu" (not to be confused with the "City and County") as a census county division (CCD).[9] Honolulu is a major financial center of the islands and of the Pacific Ocean. The population of the Honolulu census designated place (CDP) was 359,870 as of the 2017 population estimate,[4] while the Honolulu CCD was 390,738[10] and the population of the consolidated city and county was 953,207.
