Our process to booking the transport of your car is streamlined. It can be divided into 3 parts.
1) PRELIMINARY STEPS TO AUTOMOBILE SHIPPING
What’s the process for shipping my car from Kaneohe, Hawaii? Great question. Our first step is to schedule your transport so your transport team can start planning the best move for your car.
They do have to take into account the size, weight, height and type of truck you are requesting, which most customarily are open and closed options.
We will need basic information about your automobile like the VIN number, year, make and model of each car you are transporting. This tells us the information we need to properly assign your vehicle on a transporter.
We will provide you a free transport quote that includes all the costs required to move your car from origin to the drop off point. Our quotes are guaranteed and will not change for any reason unless changes are made to your car transport.
2) CAR PICK UP
The 2nd step in the process is the pick up of the car. In almost all cases, we do pick up at your location in Kaneohe, Hawaii and deliver to the specific destination provided when you booked your transport.
The most common things that we run into when picking up from a neighborhood are local limitations on driving a big rig into the neighborhood. If there are no problems regarding driving a big rig then we pick up from the destination you provided when you scheduled your transport.
Once your driver arrives, you will do a inspection of the vehicle with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that specifies any existing chips, damage or dings. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Kaneohe, Hawaii. Once it’s loaded on the truck the driver will start the journey to the next destination.
Because a driver moves more than on auto at a time, he/she may have multiple pick ups and drop offs to make before your car reaching its final destination.
3) VEHICLE DELIVERY
As the time gets closer for your car to arrive, your carrier will call you. It is difficult for a driver to know precisely when they will arrive before they get closer to the destination because of the many variables that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long transporters can actually be on the road.
Normally, you should be contacted by your carrier typically within the last 24 hours before your car is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our customers as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will arrive until just a few hours before they get to their destination.
When the car carrier arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was completed when the auto was picked up. The driver will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare pre-existing dings and dents marked during your pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure the car looks good and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.
So shipping your auto to or from Kaneohe, Hawaii can be a reasonably effortless process. We always strive to make sure to make the entire experience pleasant for every customer.

We found a great company
I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.
Don't make the same mistake that i did...
I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!
I booked, they picked up and delivered. Everything went smooth and i have noting but good things to say about this company.
Very happy with the service!
Great experience from the first call to the delivery of my vehicle. I read a lot of reviews before i chose United. I went with them because nobody had anything bad to say about this company.
Customer service – awesome
Price – average
Pickup – everything went smooth and driver did a great job!
Delivery – driver called the day before and gave me a time and he showed up as he said he would.
Totally recommend this company!
Kāneʻohe is a census-designated place (CDP) included in the City and County of Honolulu and located in Hawaiʻi state District of Koʻolaupoko on the island of Oʻahu. In the Hawaiian language, kāne ʻohe means "bamboo man". According to an ancient Hawaiian story a local woman compared her husband's cruelty to the sharp edge of cutting bamboo; thus the place was named Kāneʻohe or "Bamboo man". The population was 34,597 at the 2010 census. Kāneʻohe is the largest of several communities along Kāneʻohe Bay and one of the two largest residential communities on the windward side of Oʻahu (the other is Kailua). The commercial center of the town is spread mostly along Kamehameha Highway.
From ancient times, Kāneʻohe was important as an agricultural area, owing to an abundance of rainfall. Today, Kāneʻohe is mostly a residential community, with very little agriculture in evidence. The only commercial crop of any consequence in the area is banana.
