Kentucky Car Shipping Services

United's network of experienced drivers provide both open and enclosed car shipping services to and from the state of Kentucky.

The most popular questions customers have when looking for the best vehicle shipping company in Kentucky most commonly about the cost and how it’s done. We are going to answer those questions right now.

How Much Does It Cost to Ship My Car To or From Kentucky?

The typical price to ship a car within the United States will depend on what kind of trailer you favor open or enclosed, the distance it will travel, and your pick up and delivery preferences. It costs approximately $2.50 per mile to ship a vehicle less than 200 miles, but costs around 75 cents a mile to move a standard vehicle 1,000 miles or more.

Some of the things to consider include:

• the distance the vehicle must go
• the most acceptable time to transport your car
• current cost for diesel
• current demand for carriers

Your Quote

When we give you a quote, it will always include all expenses required to deliver your auto. Other car carrier companies will tell you a low price just to get your signature on a contract only to raise the price later, or worse, when your car is being picked up.

Our bids are all-inclusive and only change if you make changes that affect the cost. Online quote forms can only guesstimate your real shipping costs so it’s always best to call the vehicle shipping company yourself.

Open and Enclosed Carrier Transport

There are several types of shipping carriers that move our client's vehicles to and from Kentucky. We offer both open and enclosed carriers to serve the many needs of our customers. Below you’ll find a detailed list of the benefits of both.

Open Carrier

Open carrier transport simply means moving your auto on a carrier that does not provide any enclosure to protect it from everyday environmental elements. This is how most vehicles are transported to dealerships. It is also the most popular means of transport on the road and a safe way to move your auto.

There are more open carriers on the road than any other type of carrier so that makes open transport the least expensive way to transport your automobile. This also means we have more open transporters traveling through Kentucky at any given time so pickup times are often more flexible.

Enclosed Auto Transporters

Moving your auto in an enclosed truck will give you the ultimate confidence. As the name suggests, enclosed auto carriers provide the greatest level of protection from weather, elements, rocks or any other threat.

As a bonus, enclosed auto transporters often have more experience with expensive vehicles. The most common cars shipped in an enclosed carrier are collectible, classic or antique cars and motorcycles. They also transport:

• autos from auto auctions
• vintage race cars
• car show transport
• exotic auto show transport
• antique and classic cars (like I mentioned above)

The expense of moving a car on an enclosed truck is more because there are less enclosed trucks available and they can not transport as many vehicles on their carrier as an open transport can.

Motorcycle Shipping To or From Kentucky

Motorcycle Shipping by UnitedWe do also provide bike and motorcycle shipping across the county and internationally. We also ship dirt bikes and ATVs door-to-door to almost any destination worldwide. Normally motorcycles are transported in an enclosed truck.

So request a quote now! Our transport team is ready to answer any questions you have and help you move your vehicle to or from Kentucky.

No Deposit Required

Some companies will require a down payment prior to your vehicle being picked up. We do not. We work diligently to arrange your transport and don’t request payment until your transporter is on their way. This ensures you are only charged the amount you agreed to and no slick tricks because we stick to the quote we provide to transport your vehicle.

No matter what you need to move your automobile to/from Kentucky, UNITED's auto transport team will provide you with great service, and safe, reliable auto transport services no matter where we deliver for you.

Don't make the same mistake that i did...

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!

I work at a car dealer in town and we have been using United for quite some time. Over the years we have tried many companies and have been burned over and over. These guys aren’t perfect, but they communicate very well and keep us up to date when issues arise.
I have had them deliver many cars to my customer’s and they always have good things to say about this company. I enjoy working with them and I recommend them to other dealers, friends and family. You can’t go wrong when hiring a company like United to ship your vehicles!

Kentucky (/kənˈtʌki/ (listen) kən-TUK-ee), officially the Commonwealth of Kentucky, is a state located in the east south-central region of the United States. Although styled as the "State of Kentucky" in the law creating it,[3](because in Kentucky's first constitution, the name state was used) Kentucky is one of four U.S. states constituted as a commonwealth (the others being Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts). Originally a part of Virginia, in 1792 Kentucky became the 15th state to join the Union. Kentucky is the 37th most extensive and the 26th most populous of the 50 United States.

Kentucky is known as the "Bluegrass State", a nickname based on the bluegrass found in many of its pastures due to the fertile soil. One of the major regions in Kentucky is the Bluegrass Region in central Kentucky, which houses two of its major cities, Louisville and Lexington. It is a land with diverse environments and abundant resources, including the world's longest cave system, Mammoth Cave National Park, the greatest length of navigable waterways and streams in the contiguous United States, and the two largest man-made lakes east of the Mississippi River.
