But for specific answers regarding transporting a automobile to or from Laredo, Texas, read on.

Our process to booking the delivery of your automobile is simple. It can be summed up into three parts.

What’s the process for moving my car from Laredo, Texas? Great question. The first step is to schedule your transport so your dispatch team can start looking the most ideal transport for your automobile.

They do have to take into consideration the size, weight, height and type of transporter you are scheduling, which typically are open and closed trucks.

We will need general information about your vehicle like the VIN number, year, make and model of each car you are moving. This tells us the details we need to properly assign your vehicle on a transporter.

We will give you a free shipping quote that is all-inclusive of the entire expense required to move your automobile from pick up to delivery. Our quotes are guaranteed and do not fluctuate for any reason unless there are changes made to your car transport.

The 2nd step in the process is pick up of your vehicle. In almost all cases, we will pick up at your doorstep in Laredo, Texas and deliver to the final destination you gave us when you booked your transport.

The only factors that we run into when picking up from a residential address are local limitations on driving a big rig into the area. If there are no problems regarding driving a truck then we pick up from the address you gave us when you booked your transport.

Once your transporter arrives, you will do a walk around of the vehicle with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that specifies any existing chips, damage or dents. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Laredo, Texas. Once it’s loaded on the carrier the driver will start the journey to the next destination.

Because a transporter delivers more than on car at a time, he/she may have other pick ups and deliveries to make prior to your car reaching its final destination.

As the time gets closer for your auto to arrive, your carrier will contact you. It is difficult for a transporter to know precisely when they will arrive before they get closer to the drop off point because of the many influences that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long transporters can actually be on the road.

Normally, you should be contacted by your driver typically within the last 24 hours before your car is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our clients as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will arrive until just a few hours before they get to their destination.

When the auto carrier arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was done when the auto was picked up. The transporter will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare existing dings and dents identified during your pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure everything is great and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.

So shipping your vehicle to or from Laredo, Texas can be a reasonably effortless process. We always strive to ensure to make the entire experience pleasant for every customer.

I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!

Laredo (/ləˈreɪdoʊ/ lə-RAY-doh; Spanish: [laˈɾeðo]) is a city in and the county seat of Webb County, Texas, United States, on the north bank of the Rio Grande in South Texas, across from Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Laredo has the distinction of flying seven flags (the Flag of the Republic of the Rio Grande, which is now the flag of the city, in addition to the Six Flags of Texas). Founded in 1755, Laredo grew from a village to the capital of the brief Republic of the Rio Grande to the largest inland port on the Mexico–United States border. Laredo's economy is based on international trade with Mexico. Many major transportation companies have a facility in Laredo. The city is on the southern end of I-35 which makes it close to the manufacturers in northern Mexico. It has four international bridges and one railway bridge.

According to the 2010 census, the city population was 236,091, making it the tenth-most populous city in the state of Texas and third-most populated on the Mexico–United States border, after San Diego, California, and El Paso, Texas.[4] Its metropolitan area is the 178th-largest in the U.S. and includes all of Webb County, with a population of 250,304.[4] Laredo is also part of the cross-border Laredo-Nuevo Laredo Metropolitan Area with an estimated population of 636,516.[5]
