Louisiana Car Shipping Services

United's network of experienced drivers deliver both open and enclosed auto transport services to and from the state of Louisiana.

The most common questions clients have when searching for the best vehicle transport company in Louisiana most commonly about how much and how it’s done. I’m going to answer those questions right now.

How Much Does It Cost to Ship My Car To or From Louisiana?

The standard price to move a vehicle within the United States will be dependent on the kind of trailer you favor enclosed or open, the distance it will travel, and your pick up and delivery preferences. It costs around $2.50 per mile to ship a car less than 200 miles, however costs around 75 cents a mile to move a standard vehicle 1,000 miles or more.

Some of the factors to consider are:

• how far the car must go
• the most acceptable time to move your auto
• current cost for fuel
• supply and demand for drivers

You can get your free car shipping quote now.

Your Quote

Your quote will always be inclusive of all costs required to transport your car. Some car trucking companies will quote a low price just to get a signature on a contract only to raise the price after you’ve given a deposit, or worse, when it’s being picked up.

Our bids include all expenses and only change if you make changes that affect the cost. Internet quote forms can only estimate your real transport costs so it’s always best to call the car shipping company yourself.

Open and Enclosed Transport

There are various types of shipping carriers that move our client's vehicles to and from Louisiana. We offer both open and enclosed carriers to serve the varied needs of our patrons. Below you’ll find a detailed list of the benefits of each.

Open Transports

Open auto transport simply means moving your vehicle on a carrier that does not provide any enclosure to protect it from everyday environmental elements. This is the way most vehicles are transported to dealerships. It is also the most popular type of transport on the road and a viable way to transport your auto.

There are more open carriers operating on the road than any other type of carrier so that makes them the least expensive way to move your automobile. Plus we have more open carriers traveling through Louisiana at any given time so pickup times are often more flexible.

Enclosed Auto Carriers

Moving your vehicle in an enclosed carrier gives you the ultimate confidence. As the name suggests, enclosed auto carriers provide the greatest level of protection from weather, elements, rocks or any other possible threat.

As a bonus, enclosed auto transporters often have more experience with specialty vehicles. The most common autos shipped in an enclosed carrier are collectible, classic or antique motorcycles and cars. They also transport:

• autos from car auctions
• classic race cars
• car show transport
• exotic vehicle show transport
• antique and classic cars (like I mentioned above)

The cost of moving a car on an enclosed carrier is more because there are fewer enclosed trucks on the road and they can not transport as many cars on their carrier as an open carrier can.

Motorcycle Shipping To or From Louisiana

Motorcycle Shipping by UnitedWe do also offer motorcycle and bike shipping across the county and internationally. We also ship ATVs and dirt bikes door-to-door to almost any location worldwide. Typically motorcycles are moved in an enclosed carrier.

So request a quote now! Our professional transport team is ready to answer any questions you have and help you move your car to or from Louisiana.

No Deposit Required

Some companies will require a deposit prior to your auto being picked up. We do not. We work hard to arrange your transport and don’t request payment until your transporter is on their way. This ensures you are only charged the amount you agreed to and no tricky scams because we stick to the quote we provide to transport your vehicle.

No matter what you need to move your car to/from Louisiana, UNITED's auto transport team will provide you with great service, and safe, reliable car shipping services no matter where we deliver for you.

Don't make the same mistake that i did...

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!

I work at a car dealer in town and we have been using United for quite some time. Over the years we have tried many companies and have been burned over and over. These guys aren’t perfect, but they communicate very well and keep us up to date when issues arise.
I have had them deliver many cars to my customer’s and they always have good things to say about this company. I enjoy working with them and I recommend them to other dealers, friends and family. You can’t go wrong when hiring a company like United to ship your vehicles!

Louisiana (/luˌiːziˈænə/ (listen), /ˌluːzi-/ (listen))[a] is a state in the Deep South region of the South Central United States. It is the 31st most extensive and the 25th most populous of the 50 United States. Louisiana is bordered by the state of Texas to the west, Arkansas to the north, Mississippi to the east, and the Gulf of Mexico to the south. A large part of its eastern boundary is demarcated by the Mississippi River. Louisiana is the only U.S. state with political subdivisions termed parishes, which are equivalent to counties. The state's capital is Baton Rouge, and its largest city is New Orleans.

Much of the state's lands were formed from sediment washed down the Mississippi River, leaving enormous deltas and vast areas of coastal marsh and swamp.[9][self-published source] These contain a rich southern biota; typical examples include birds such as ibis and egrets. There are also many species of tree frogs, and fish such as sturgeon and paddlefish. In more elevated areas, fire is a natural process in the landscape, and has produced extensive areas of longleaf pine forest and wet savannas. These support an exceptionally large number of plant species, including many species of terrestrial orchids and carnivorous plants.[9] Louisiana has more Native American tribes than any other southern state, including four that are federally recognized, ten that are state recognized, and four that have not received recognition.[10]
