Massachusetts Auto Transport Services
United’s network of highly qualified drivers provide both open and enclosed car shipping services to and from the state of Massachusetts.
The most popular questions people have when searching for the best car shipping company in Massachusetts are largely about about the cost and how it’s done. I’m going to answer those questions right now.
How Much Does It Cost to Ship My Car To or From Massachusetts?
The standard price to transport a automobile within the United States will depend on what kind of trailer you favor enclosed or open, how far it’s going, and your pick up and delivery preferences. It costs around $2.50 per mile to ship a car less than 200 miles, however costs around 75 cents a mile to ship a standard automobile 1,000 miles or more.
Some of the factors we consider are:
• the distance the auto must travel
• the most acceptable time to pickup and deliver your auto
• national cost for fuel
• existing demand for carriers
You can get your free car shipping quote now.
When we give you a quote, it will always include all expenses required to transport your auto. Some car transport companies will tell you a low-ball price just to get an autograph on an agreement only to jack up the price later, or worse, when your car is being picked up.
Our bids include all expenses and only change if you make alterations that affect the cost. Internet quote forms can only estimate your real transport costs so it’s always best to speak directly to the auto shipping company yourself.
Open and Enclosed Carrier Transport
There are several types of shipping carriers that move our client’s vehicles to and from Massachusetts. We offer both open and enclosed carriers to serve the many needs of our customers. Below you’ll find a detailed list of the benefits of each.
Open vehicle transport simply means shipping your auto on a carrier that does not provide any enclosure to shield it from everyday environmental elements. This is the way most cars are transported to car dealerships. It is also the most popular means of transporter on the road and a safe way to move your vehicle.
There are more open carriers on the road than any other type of carrier so that makes them the cheapest manner to ship your automobile. Plus we have more open carriers traveling through Massachusetts at any given time so pickup times are often more flexible.
Enclosed Auto Carriers
Shipping your vehicle in an enclosed truck will give you the ultimate confidence. As the name suggests, enclosed auto transporters provide the highest degree of protection from weather, elements, rocks or any other threat.
As a bonus, enclosed auto transporters typically have more experience with expensive vehicles. The most common vehicles transported in an enclosed carrier are antique, collectible or classic motorcycles and cars. They also transport:
• vehicles from car auctions
• classic race cars
• car show transport
• exotic auto show transport
• antique and classic vehicles (as I mentioned above)
The cost of shipping a vehicle on an enclosed carrier is more because there are fewer enclosed trucks available and they can not haul as many vehicles on their carrier as an open transport can.
Motorcycle Shipping From or To Massachusetts
We do also provide motorcycle and bike shipping across the county and internationally. We also ship dirt bikes and ATVs door-to-door to almost any location worldwide. Normally motorcycles are moved in an enclosed truck.
So request a quote now! Our professional transport team is ready to answer any questions you have and help you move your car to or from Massachusetts.
No Deposit Required
Some competitors will require a down payment prior to your auto being picked up. We will not. We work diligently to arrange your move and don’t request payment until your transporter is on their way. This ensures you are only charged the price you agreed upon and no slick tricks because we stick to the quote we provide to ship your vehicle.
No matter what you require to move your vehicle to/from Massachusetts, UNITED’s auto transport team will provide you with great service, and safe, reliable auto transport services no matter where we deliver for you.
Contacted Joe needed to transport my SUV from MD to ATL. Joe took my info and said he would call as soon as he dispatch a driver in several hours he contacted me said he can have my car pickup up that next day Friday and delivered on Saturday. The Driver call right away before the pickup and after. He was very quick and professional.
We found a great company
I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.
Don't make the same mistake that i did...
I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!
I booked, they picked up and delivered. Everything went smooth and i have noting but good things to say about this company.

Delivery – driver called the day before and gave me a time and he showed up as he said he would.

Massachusetts (/ˌmæsəˈtʃuːsɪts/ (listen), /-zɪts/), officially the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, is the most populous state in the New England region of the northeastern United States. It borders on the Atlantic Ocean to the east, the states of Connecticut and Rhode Island to the south, New Hampshire and Vermont to the north, and New York to the west. The state is named after the Massachusett tribe, which once inhabited the east side of the area, and is one of the original thirteen states. The capital of Massachusetts is Boston, which is also the most populous city in New England. Over 80% of Massachusetts’s population lives in the Greater Boston metropolitan area, a region influential upon American history, academia, and industry. Originally dependent on agriculture, fishing and trade, Massachusetts was transformed into a manufacturing center during the Industrial Revolution. During the 20th century, Massachusetts’s economy shifted from manufacturing to services. Modern Massachusetts is a global leader in biotechnology, engineering, higher education, finance, and maritime trade.
Plymouth was the site of the second colony in New England after Popham Colony in 1607 in what is now Maine . Plymouth was founded in 1620 by the Pilgrims, passengers of the Mayflower. In 1692, the town of Salem and surrounding areas experienced one of America’s most infamous cases of mass hysteria, the Salem witch trials. In 1777, General Henry Knox founded the Springfield Armory, which during the Industrial Revolution catalyzed numerous important technological advances, including interchangeable parts. In 1786, Shays’ Rebellion, a populist revolt led by disaffected American Revolutionary War veterans, influenced the United States Constitutional Convention. In the 18th century, the Protestant First Great Awakening, which swept the Atlantic World, originated from the pulpit of Northampton preacher Jonathan Edwards. In the late 18th century, Boston became known as the “Cradle of Liberty” for the agitation there that led to the American Revolution.
