Our process to scheduling the delivery of your car is streamlined. It can be divided into 3 parts.
1) PRELIMINARY STEPS TO AUTOMOBILE SHIPPING
What’s the process for moving my car from Memphis, Tennessee? Great question. The first thing is to book your transport so your transport team can start looking the most ideal transport for your car.
They do have to take into account the size, weight, height and type of carrier you are needing, which most customarily are open and closed trucks.
We will need general information about your automobile like the VIN number, year, make and model of each auto you are moving. This tells us the information we need to properly move your vehicle on a truck.
We will give you a free transport quote that includes everything required to transport your vehicle from origin to delivery. Our prices are guaranteed and will not fluctuate for any reason unless changes are made to your shipment.
2) VEHICLE PICK UP
The second step in the process is the pick up of your auto. In almost all cases, we will pick up at your location in Memphis, Tennessee and deliver to the specified destination provided when you booked your move.
The most common issues that we deal with when picking up from a particular place are local restrictions on driving a transporter into the neighborhood. If there are no problems regarding driving a transporter then we pick up from the location you provided when you scheduled your transport.
Once your transporter arrives, you will do a walk around of the vehicle with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that identifies any existing chips, damage or dings. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Memphis, Tennessee. Once it’s loaded in the truck the driver will start their journey to the next destination.
Because a transporter delivers more than on auto at a time, he/she may have more pick ups and deliveries to make prior to your car reaching its final destination.
3) CAR DELIVERY
As the time nears for your vehicle to arrive, your carrier will call you. It is difficult for a transporter to know precisely when they will arrive before they get closer to the drop off point because of the many influences that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long drivers can actually be on the road.
Normally, you should be contacted by your carrier typically within the last 24 hours before your vehicle is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our clients as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will arrive until just a few hours before they get to their destination.
When the auto carrier arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was completed when the vehicle was picked up. The transporter will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare existing dents and dings marked during your pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure the car looks good and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.
So transporting your vehicle to or from Memphis, Tennessee can be a reasonably effortless process. We always strive to ensure to make the entire experience pleasant for every customer.

We found a great company
I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.
Don't make the same mistake that i did...
I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!
I booked, they picked up and delivered. Everything went smooth and i have noting but good things to say about this company.

Delivery – driver called the day before and gave me a time and he showed up as he said he would.

The high bluffs protecting the location from the waters of the Mississippi would then be contested between the Spanish, French, and the English as Memphis took shape. Modern Memphis was founded in 1819 by three prominent Americans: John Overton, James Winchester, and future president Andrew Jackson.
