But for specific answers regarding transporting a automobile to or from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, read on.

Our steps to booking the shipment of your vehicle is very simple. It can be summed up into 3 parts.

What’s the process for shipping my car from Milwaukee, Wisconsin? Great question. Our first step is to schedule your transport so your transport team can start looking the best move for your car.

They do have to consider the size, weight, height and type of truck you are needing, which typically are open and closed carriers.

We will need basic details about your car like the VIN number, year, make and model of each vehicle you are moving. This tells us the details we need to properly assign your vehicle on a transporter.

We will give you a free transport quote that is all-inclusive of everything required to transport your vehicle from origin to your destination. Our quotes are guaranteed and do not fluctuate for any reason unless you make changes to your car transport.

The second step in the process is pick up of the car. In almost all cases, we will pick up at your location in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and deliver to the specified destination provided when you booked your shipping.

The only things that come up when picking up from a neighborhood are local limitations on getting a truck into the neighborhood. If there are no problems regarding driving a truck then we pick up from the destination you gave us when you scheduled your transport.

Once your driver arrives, you will do a walk around of the automobile with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that designates any existing chips, damage or dents. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Once it’s loaded in the transporter the driver will start the journey to the next stop.

Because a carrier moves more than on car at a time, he/she may have multiple pick ups and deliveries to make prior to your car arriving at its final destination.

As the time gets closer for your car to arrive, your transporter will call you. It is difficult for a driver to know precisely when they will arrive before they get closer to the destination because of the many variables that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long drivers can actually be on the road.

Normally, you should be contacted by your driver typically within the last 24 hours before your vehicle is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our customers as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will get there until just a few hours before they get to their destination.

When the vehicle carrier arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was done when the auto was picked up. The transporter will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare pre-existing damage marked during your pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure everything is great and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.

So shipping your car to or from Milwaukee, Wisconsin can be a fairly easy process. We always strive to make sure to make the entire experience pleasant for every client.

I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!

Milwaukee (/mɪlˈwɔːki/, locally /məˈ-, mɪˈ-/)[6] is the largest city in the state of Wisconsin and the fifth-largest city in the Midwestern United States. The seat of the eponymous county, it is on Lake Michigan's western shore. Ranked by its estimated 2014 population, Milwaukee was the 31st largest city in the United States.[7] The city's estimated population in 2017 was 595,351.[8] Milwaukee is the main cultural and economic center of the Milwaukee metropolitan area which had a population of 2,043,904 in the 2014 census estimate. It is the second-most densely populated metropolitan area in the Midwest, surpassed only by Chicago.[9] Milwaukee is considered a Gamma global city as categorized by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network with a regional GDP of over $105 billion.

The first Europeans to pass through the area were French Catholic Jesuit missionaries, who were ministering to Native Americans, and fur traders. In 1818, the French Canadian explorer Solomon Juneau settled in the area, and in 1846, Juneau's town combined with two neighboring towns to incorporate as the city of Milwaukee. Large numbers of German immigrants arrived during the late 1840s, after the German revolutions, with Poles and other eastern European immigrants arriving in the following decades. Milwaukee is known for its brewing traditions, begun with the German immigrants.
