But for specific answers regarding shipping a car to or from Nashville, Tennessee, read on.

Our process to scheduling the delivery of your automobile is simple. It can be summed up into 3 steps.

What’s the process for shipping my car from Nashville, Tennessee? Great question. The first thing is to book your transport so your transport team can start planning the most ideal transport for your car.

They do have to take into account the size, weight, height and type of transporter you are requesting, which typically are open and closed options.

We will need general details about your vehicle like the VIN number, year, make and model of each auto you are shipping. This provides the details we need to properly move your vehicle on a truck.

We will give you a free transport quote that is all-inclusive of everything required to move your car from pick up to your destination. Our quotes are guaranteed and do not change for any reason unless there are changes made to your auto transport.

The second step in the process is pick up of your auto. In almost all cases, we do pick up at your location in Nashville, Tennessee and deliver to the specific destination we were given when you booked your move.

The most common factors that we run into when picking up from a particular place are local regulations on driving a truck into the area. If there are no problems regarding driving a transporter then we pick up from the location you provided when you booked your transport.

Once your driver arrives, you will do a inspection of the car with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that specifies any existing chips, damage or dings. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Nashville, Tennessee. Once it’s loaded on the carrier the driver will start their journey to the next destination.

Because a carrier delivers more than on car at a time, he/she may have more pick ups and deliveries to make before your car arriving at its final destination.

As the time nears for your vehicle to arrive, your carrier will contact you. It is difficult for a driver to know precisely when they will arrive before they get closer to the drop off point because of the many variables that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long transporters can actually be on the road.

Normally, you should be contacted by your transporter typically within the last 24 hours before your auto is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our clients as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will get there until just a few hours before they get to their destination.

When the car transporter arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was done when the car was picked up. The driver will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare existing damage marked during your pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure everything is great and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.

So transporting your auto to or from Nashville, Tennessee can be a fairly easy process. We always strive to make sure to make the entire experience pleasant for every customer.

Why should I ship my car to Nashville, Tennessee?

Relocating your vehicle may not be the most practical way to transport your vehicle to another city. It puts high miles on your car. Depending on how far you will travel, there can be a lot of wear and tear — and imagine if it needs maintenance while you’re on your way.

Untimely malfunctions can cost far more what it would have cost you to have an experienced transporter move it for you. Not to mention, the time it adds to your trip.

That’s why we offer convenient door-to-door delivery for all our customers.

Whether you’re shipping your car to or from Nashville, Tennessee, let us help you get it transported safely. We are your reliable car transport team and we’re ready to move when you are.

I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!
