New Jersey Auto Transport Services

United's network of experienced auto carriers deliver both open and enclosed car shipping services to and from the state of New Jersey.

The most common questions clients have when looking for the best car shipping company in New Jersey most commonly about how much and how it’s done. we’ll going to answer those questions now.

How Much Does It Cost to Ship My Car To or From New Jersey?

The typical price to transport a vehicle within the United States will depend on the type of trailer you favor enclosed or open, the distance it will travel, and your pick up and delivery preferences. It costs around $2.50 per mile to move a vehicle less than 200 miles, but costs around 75 cents a mile to ship a standard automobile 1,000 miles or more.

Some of the things we consider are:

• how far the car must be transported
• the most acceptable time to pickup and deliver your auto
• current cost for diesel
• current demand for drivers

About Your Quote

When we give you a quote, it will always be inclusive of all costs required to deliver your vehicle. Other car trucking companies will quote a low-ball price just to get a signature on an agreement only to raise the price after you’ve given a deposit, or worse, when your car is being picked up.

Our quotes include all expenses and only change if you make alterations that affect the cost. Internet quote forms can only guesstimate your real transport costs so it’s always best to call the car transport company yourself.

Open and Enclosed Transport

There are several types of shipping carriers that move our client's vehicles to and from New Jersey. We offer both open and enclosed transporters to serve the many needs of our customers. Below you’ll find a detailed list of the benefits of each.

Open Transports

Open vehicle transport simply means shipping your auto on a truck that doesn’t provide any enclosure to shield it from everyday environmental elements. This is the way most cars are transported to car dealerships. It is also the most common type of transport on the road and a safe way to move your car.

There are more open carriers on the road than any other type of carrier so that makes open transport the least expensive way to ship your vehicle. Plus we have more open carriers traveling through New Jersey at any particular time so pickup times are often more flexible.

Enclosed Car Carriers

Moving your vehicle in an enclosed truck will give you the ultimate confidence. As the name suggests, enclosed auto carriers provide the greatest level of protection from weather, elements, rocks or any other threat.

As a bonus, enclosed auto transporters typically have more experience with specialty vehicles. The most common vehicles moved in an enclosed carrier are collectible, classic or antique cars and motorcycles. They also transport:

• vehicles from auto auctions
• vintage race cars
• auto show transport
• exotic vehicle show transport
• antique and classic vehicles (like I mentioned above)

The expense of moving a vehicle on an enclosed carrier is more because there are fewer enclosed trucks on the road and they can not haul as many autos on their truck as an open transport can.

Motorcycle Shipping To or From New Jersey

Motorcycle Shipping by UnitedWe do also provide bike and motorcycle shipping across the United States and internationally. We also ship ATVs and dirt bikes door-to-door to almost any destination worldwide. Normally motorcycles are transported in an enclosed transporter.

So request a quote now! Our team is ready to answer any questions you have and help you move your vehicle to or from New Jersey.

No Deposit Required

Some competitors will require a deposit prior to your car being picked up. We will not. We work hard to arrange your transport and don’t request payment until your transporter is on their way. This ensures you are only charged the amount you agreed to and no tricky scams because we stick to the quote we give you to transport your car.

No matter what you require to move your car to/from New Jersey, UNITED's auto transport team will provide you with great customer service, and safe, reliable auto transport services no matter where we deliver for you.

Don't make the same mistake that i did...

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!

I work at a car dealer in town and we have been using United for quite some time. Over the years we have tried many companies and have been burned over and over. These guys aren’t perfect, but they communicate very well and keep us up to date when issues arise.
I have had them deliver many cars to my customer’s and they always have good things to say about this company. I enjoy working with them and I recommend them to other dealers, friends and family. You can’t go wrong when hiring a company like United to ship your vehicles!

New Jersey is a state in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern regions of the United States. It is located on a peninsula, bordered on the north and east by the state of New York, particularly along the extent of the length of New York City on its western edge; on the east, southeast, and south by the Atlantic Ocean; on the west by the Delaware River and Pennsylvania; and on the southwest by the Delaware Bay and Delaware. New Jersey is the fourth-smallest state by area but the 11th-most populous, with 9 million residents as of 2017,[19] and the most densely populated of the 50 U.S. states; its biggest city is Newark. New Jersey lies completely within the combined statistical areas of New York City and Philadelphia. New Jersey was the second-wealthiest U.S. state by median household income as of 2017.[20]

New Jersey was inhabited by Native Americans for more than 2,800 years, with historical tribes such as the Lenape along the coast. In the early 17th century, the Dutch and the Swedes founded the first European settlements in the state.[21] The English later seized control of the region,[22] naming it the Province of New Jersey after the largest of the Channel Islands, Jersey,[23] and granting it as a colony to Sir George Carteret and John Berkeley, 1st Baron Berkeley of Stratton. New Jersey was the site of several decisive battles during the American Revolutionary War in the 18th century.
