United’s network of professional drivers provide both open and enclosed car shipping services to and from the great state of New Mexico.
The most popular questions people have when looking for the best auto transport company in New Mexico most commonly about the cost and how it’s done. we’ll going to answer those questions in this article.
How Much Does It Cost to Ship My Car To or From New Mexico?
The typical price to move a vehicle within the United States will be dependent on what kind of trailer you favor open or enclosed, how far it’s going, and your pick up and delivery preferences. It costs around $2.50 per mile to move a vehicle less than 200 miles, but costs around 75 cents a mile to move a standard vehicle 1,000 miles or more.
Some of the factors we consider are:
• how many miles the auto must go
• the best time to pickup and deliver your vehicle
• current cost for diesel
• current demand for drivers

About Your Quote
The quote you get from us will always include all expenses required to move your car. Other vehicle carrier companies will quote a low price just to get your autograph on a contract only to raise the price later, or worse, when your car is being picked up.
Our bids include all expenses and only change if you make alterations that increase the cost. Internet quote forms can only guesstimate your actual shipping costs so it’s always best to call the auto transport company yourself.
Open and Enclosed Carrier Transport
There are several types of shipping carriers that move our client’s vehicles to and from New Mexico. We offer both open and enclosed carriers to serve the varied needs of our patrons. Below you’ll find a detailed list of the benefits of each.
Open vehicle transport simply means moving your auto on a carrier that doesn’t provide any enclosure to shield it from everyday environmental elements. This is the way most vehicles are transported to car dealerships. It is also the most popular type of transporter on the road and a safe way to ship your vehicle.
There are more open carriers on the road than any other type of transporter so that makes open transport the cheapest way to transport your car. This also means we have more open transporters traveling through New Mexico at any given time so pickup times are often more flexible.
Enclosed Auto Transporters
Shipping your auto in an enclosed carrier gives you the ultimate confidence. As the name suggests, enclosed car carriers provide the greatest level of protection from weather, elements, rocks or any other possible threat.
As a bonus, enclosed auto carriers typically have more experience with specialty vehicles. The most common autos shipped in an enclosed carrier are classic, collectible or antique cars and motorcycles. They also transport:
• vehicles from auto auctions
• classic race cars
• car show transport
• exotic auto show transport
• antique and classic vehicles (as I mentioned above)
The expense of shipping a vehicle on an enclosed truck is more because there are fewer enclosed trucks available and they can not transport as many autos on their carrier as an open carrier can.
Motorcycle Shipping To or From New Mexico
We do also provide bike and motorcycle shipping across the United States and internationally. We also ship dirt bikes and ATVs door-to-door to almost any destination worldwide. Normally motorcycles are transported in an enclosed truck.

No Deposit Required
Some companies will require a deposit prior to your car being picked up. We will not. We work hard to arrange your transport and don’t request payment until your transporter is on their way. This ensures you are only charged the price you agreed to and no slick tricks because we stick to the quote we give you to ship your vehicle.
No matter what you need to move your automobile to/from New Mexico, UNITED’s auto transport team will provide you with great customer service, and safe, reliable auto transport services no matter where we deliver for you.
Contacted Joe needed to transport my SUV from MD to ATL. Joe took my info and said he would call as soon as he dispatch a driver in several hours he contacted me said he can have my car pickup up that next day Friday and delivered on Saturday. The Driver call right away before the pickup and after. He was very quick and professional.
We found a great company
I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.
Don't make the same mistake that i did...
I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!
I booked, they picked up and delivered. Everything went smooth and i have noting but good things to say about this company.

Pickup – everything went smooth and driver did a great job!
Delivery – driver called the day before and gave me a time and he showed up as he said he would.
Totally recommend this company!
New Mexico (Spanish: Nuevo México Spanish pronunciation: [ˈnweβo ˈmexiko] (listen), Navajo: Yootó Hahoodzo pronounced [jòːtxó xɑ̀xʷòːtsò]) is a state in the Southwestern region of the United States of America; its capital and cultural center is Santa Fe, which was founded in 1610 as capital of Nuevo México (itself established as a province of New Spain in 1598), while its largest city is Albuquerque with its accompanying metropolitan area. It is one of the Mountain States and shares the Four Corners region with Utah, Colorado, and Arizona; its other neighboring states are Oklahoma to the northeast, Texas to the east-southeast, and the Mexican states of Chihuahua to the south and Sonora to the southwest. With a population around two million, New Mexico is the 36th state by population. With a total area of 121,592 sq mi (314,920 km2), it is the fifth-largest and sixth-least densely populated of the 50 states. Due to their geographic locations, northern and eastern New Mexico exhibit a colder, alpine climate, while western and southern New Mexico exhibit a warmer, arid climate.
The economy of New Mexico is dependent on oil drilling, mineral extraction, dryland farming, cattle ranching, lumber milling, and retail trade. As of 2016–2017, its total gross domestic product (GDP) was $95 billion with a GDP per capita of $45,465. New Mexico’s status as a tax haven yields low to moderate personal income taxes on residents and military personnel, and gives tax credits and exemptions to favorable industries. Because of this, its film industry has grown and contributed $1.23 billion to its overall economy. Due to its large area and economic climate, New Mexico has a large U.S. military presence marked notably with the White Sands Missile Range. Various U.S. national security agencies base their research and testing arms in New Mexico such as the Sandia and Los Alamos National Laboratories. During the 1940s, Project Y of the Manhattan Project developed and built the country’s first atomic bomb and nuclear test, Trinity.
