North Carolina Auto Transport Services

United's network of skilled auto carriers provide both open and enclosed auto transport services to and from the great state of North Carolina.

The most popular questions customers have when researching the best vehicle shipping company in North Carolina most commonly about the cost and how it’s done. we’ll going to answer those questions right now.

How Much Does It Cost to Ship My Car To or From North Carolina?

The typical price to move a automobile within the United States will be dependent on the type of trailer you favor enclosed or open, the distance it will travel, and your pick up and delivery preferences. It costs around $2.50 per mile to move a vehicle less than 200 miles, but costs around 75 cents a mile to ship a standard automobile 1,000 miles or more.

Some of the factors we consider are:

• how many miles the car must go
• the best time to pickup and deliver your vehicle
• national cost for fuel
• existing demand for carriers

About Your Quote

When we give you a quote, it will always include all costs required to deliver your car. Other vehicle trucking companies will bid a low price just to get a signature on an agreement only to raise the price later, or worse, when it’s being picked up.

Our bids are all-inclusive and only change if you make alterations that increase the cost. Internet quote forms can only estimate your actual shipping costs so it’s always best to call the auto transport company yourself.

Open and Enclosed Transport

There are multiple types of shipping carriers that move our client's vehicles to and from North Carolina. We offer both open and enclosed carriers to serve the varied needs of our customers. Below you’ll find a detailed list of the benefits of each.

Open Carrier

Open carrier transport simply means shipping your vehicle on a truck that doesn’t provide any enclosure to protect it from everyday environmental elements. This is how most vehicles are transported to dealerships. It is also the most common means of transport on the road and a safe way to ship your car.

There are more open carriers operating on the road than any other type of transporter so that makes them the least expensive way to transport your automobile. Plus we have more open carriers traveling through North Carolina at any given time so pickup times are often more flexible.

Enclosed Auto Carriers

Shipping your vehicle in an enclosed carrier will give you the ultimate peace of mind. As the name suggests, enclosed auto carriers provide the greatest level of protection from weather, elements, rocks or any other threat.

As a bonus, enclosed auto transporters often have more experience with high end vehicles. The most common vehicles shipped in an enclosed carrier are collectible, classic or antique cars and motorcycles. They also transport:

• vehicles from car auctions
• vintage race cars
• car show transport
• exotic auto show transport
• antique and classic vehicles (like I mentioned above)

The expense of moving a car on an enclosed truck is more because there are fewer enclosed trucks on the road and they can not move as many cars on their truck as an open transport can.

Motorcycle Shipping From or To North Carolina

Motorcycle Shipping by UnitedWe do also offer bike and motorcycle shipping across the United States and internationally. We also ship ATVs and dirt bikes door-to-door to almost any location worldwide. Typically motorcycles are transported in an enclosed carrier.

So request a quote now! Our team is ready to answer any questions you have and help you move your vehicle to or from North Carolina.

No Deposit Required

Some companies will require a deposit prior to your vehicle being picked up. We will not. We work hard to arrange your transport and don’t request payment until your driver is on their way. This ensures you are only charged the price you agreed to and no slick tricks because we stick to the quote we provide to move your vehicle.

No matter what you require to move your vehicle to/from North Carolina, UNITED's auto transport team will provide you with great customer service, and safe, reliable car shipping services no matter where we deliver for you.

Don't make the same mistake that i did...

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!

I work at a car dealer in town and we have been using United for quite some time. Over the years we have tried many companies and have been burned over and over. These guys aren’t perfect, but they communicate very well and keep us up to date when issues arise.
I have had them deliver many cars to my customer’s and they always have good things to say about this company. I enjoy working with them and I recommend them to other dealers, friends and family. You can’t go wrong when hiring a company like United to ship your vehicles!

North Carolina (/ˌkærəˈlaɪnə/ (listen)) is a state in the southeastern region of the United States. It borders South Carolina and Georgia to the south, Tennessee to the west, Virginia to the north, and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. North Carolina is the 28th-most extensive and the 9th-most populous of the U.S. states. The state is divided into 100 counties. The capital is Raleigh, which along with Durham and Chapel Hill is home to the largest research park in the United States (Research Triangle Park). The most populous municipality is Charlotte, which is the second-largest banking center in the United States after New York City.[9]

The state has a wide range of elevations, from sea level on the coast to 6,684 feet (2,037 m) at Mount Mitchell, the highest point in North America east of the Mississippi River.[10] The climate of the coastal plains is strongly influenced by the Atlantic Ocean. Most of the state falls in the humid subtropical climate zone. More than 300 miles (500 km) from the coast, the western, mountainous part of the state has a subtropical highland climate.
