North Dakota Auto Transport Services

United's network of skilled auto carriers deliver both open and enclosed auto transport services to and from the state of North Dakota.

The most common questions clients have when looking for the best car shipping company in North Dakota are largely about about the cost and how the car is moved. we’ll going to answer those questions now.

How Much Does It Cost to Ship My Car To or From North Dakota?

The standard price to transport a car within the United States will depend on what kind of trailer you favor open or enclosed, the distance it will travel, and your pick up and delivery preferences. It costs approximately $2.50 per mile to move a car less than 200 miles, however costs around 75 cents a mile to ship a standard vehicle 1,000 miles or more.

Some of the things we consider are:

• how many miles the vehicle must go
• the best time to move your auto
• national cost for diesel
• current demand for transporters

Your Quote

When we give you a quote, it will always include all costs required to transport your car. Other vehicle carrier companies will bid a low price just to get your signature on an agreement only to raise the price later, or worse, when it’s being picked up.

Our quotes are final and only change if you make alterations that affect the cost. Internet quote forms can only estimate your actual transport costs so it’s always best to call the vehicle shipping company yourself.

Open and Enclosed Carrier Transport

There are several types of transport carriers that move our client's vehicles to and from North Dakota. We offer both open and enclosed carriers to serve the varied needs of our patrons. Below you’ll find a detailed list of the benefits of both.

Open Carrier

Open vehicle transport simply means moving your auto on a truck that doesn’t provide any enclosure to protect it from everyday environmental elements. This is how most vehicles are delivered to dealerships. It is also the most common type of transporter on the road and a safe way to ship your vehicle.

There are more open carriers operating on the road than any other type of carrier so that makes open transport the most economical manner to move your car. Plus we have more open transporters traveling through North Dakota at any given time so pickup times are often more flexible.

Enclosed Auto Carriers

Shipping your vehicle in an enclosed carrier will give you the ultimate peace of mind. As the name suggests, enclosed car carriers provide the highest degree of protection from weather, elements, rocks or any other possible threat.

As a bonus, enclosed auto carriers typically have more experience with expensive vehicles. The most common autos moved in an enclosed carrier are classic, collectible or antique motorcycles and cars. They also transport:

• autos from car auctions
• classic race cars
• car show transport
• exotic auto show transport
• antique and classic vehicles (like I mentioned above)

The cost of shipping a car on an enclosed truck is more because there are less enclosed trucks on the road and they can not move as many cars on their carrier as an open transport can.

Motorcycle Shipping From or To North Dakota

Motorcycle Shipping by UnitedWe do also provide motorcycle and bike shipping across the county and internationally. We also ship ATVs and dirt bikes door-to-door to almost any location worldwide. Normally motorcycles are moved in an enclosed truck.

So request a quote now! Our transport team is ready to answer any questions you have and help you move your vehicle to or from North Dakota.

No Deposit Required

Some companies will require a deposit prior to your vehicle being picked up. We do not. We work hard to arrange your transport and don’t request payment until your driver is on their way. This ensures you are only charged the amount you agreed upon and no tricky scams because we stick to the quote we give you to ship your vehicle.

No matter what you require to move your car to/from North Dakota, UNITED's auto transport team will provide you with great customer service, and safe, reliable auto transport services no matter where we deliver for you.

Thanks Joe
Contacted Joe needed to transport my SUV from MD to ATL. Joe took my info and said he would call as soon as he dispatch a driver in several hours he contacted me said he can have my car pickup up that next day Friday and delivered on Saturday. The Driver call right away before the pickup and after. He was very quick and professional.

Don't make the same mistake that i did...

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!

North Dakota ( /- dəˈkoʊtə/ (listen)) is a U.S. state in the midwestern and northern regions of the United States. It is the nineteenth largest in area, the fourth smallest by population, and the fourth most sparsely populated of the 50 states. North Dakota was admitted to the Union on November 3, 1889, along with its neighboring state, South Dakota. Its capital is Bismarck, and its largest city is Fargo.

In the 21st century, North Dakota's natural resources have played a major role in its economic performance, particularly with the oil extraction from the Bakken formation, which lies beneath the northwestern part of the state. Such development has led to population growth and reduced unemployment.[4][5][6]
