The most popular questions customers have when searching for the best car shipping company in Oregon most commonly about price and how the car is moved. we’ll going to answer those questions right now.
How Much Does It Cost to Ship My Car To or From Oregon?
The standard price to transport a car within the United States will depend on the kind of trailer you favor enclosed or open, the distance it will travel, and your pick up and delivery preferences. It costs approximately $2.50 per mile to ship a vehicle less than 200 miles, however costs around 75 cents a mile to move a standard automobile 1,000 miles or more.
Some of the factors to consider are:
• how far the vehicle must go
• the best time to transport your vehicle
• national cost for fuel
• current demand for drivers
You can get your free car shipping quote now.
Your quote will always include all costs required to transport your auto. Some car shipping companies will quote a low-ball price just to get your signature on an agreement only to jack up the price after you’ve given a deposit, or worse, when it’s being picked up.
Our bids are all-inclusive and only change if you make changes that affect the cost. Online quote forms can only guesstimate your real transport costs so it’s always best to speak directly to the car transport company yourself.
Open and Enclosed Carrier Transport
There are various types of shipping carriers that move our client's vehicles to and from Oregon. We offer both open and enclosed transporters to serve the varied needs of our clients. Below you’ll find a detailed list of the benefits of each.
Open carrier transport simply means shipping your auto on a carrier that doesn’t provide any enclosure to protect it from everyday environmental elements. This is the way most cars are transported to dealerships. It is also the most popular method of transporter on the road and a practical way to move your car.
There are more open carriers on the road than any other type of transporter so that makes open transport the most economical way to move your automobile. Plus we have more open carriers traveling through Oregon at any particular time so pickup times are often more flexible.
Enclosed Car Carriers
Shipping your car in an enclosed truck gives you the ultimate confidence. As the name suggests, enclosed car transporters provide the highest degree of protection from weather, elements, rocks or any other possible threat.
As a bonus, enclosed auto carriers typically have more experience with expensive vehicles. The most common cars shipped in an enclosed carrier are classic, collectible or antique motorcycles and cars. They also transport:
• vehicles from car auctions
• vintage race cars
• car show transport
• exotic auto show transport
• antique and classic cars (like I mentioned above)
The cost of shipping a vehicle on an enclosed carrier is greater because there are less enclosed trucks available and they can not haul as many vehicles on their truck as an open transport can.
Motorcycle Shipping To or From Oregon
We do also provide bike and motorcycle shipping across the county and internationally. We also ship ATVs and dirt bikes door-to-door to almost any location worldwide. Normally motorcycles are transported in an enclosed carrier.

No Deposit Required
Some competitors will require a deposit prior to your auto being picked up. We do not. We work hard to arrange your transport and don’t request payment until your transporter is on their way. This ensures you are only charged the price you agreed to and no tricky scams because we stick to the quote we give you to move your car.
No matter what you need to move your car to/from Oregon, UNITED's auto transport team will provide you with great service, and safe, reliable car shipping services no matter where we deliver for you.
Contacted Joe needed to transport my SUV from MD to ATL. Joe took my info and said he would call as soon as he dispatch a driver in several hours he contacted me said he can have my car pickup up that next day Friday and delivered on Saturday. The Driver call right away before the pickup and after. He was very quick and professional.
Don't make the same mistake that i did...
I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!
I booked, they picked up and delivered. Everything went smooth and i have noting but good things to say about this company.
Very happy with the service!

Oregon (/ˈɒrɪɡən/ (listen) ORR-ih-gən) is a state in the Pacific Northwest region on the West Coast of the United States. The Columbia River delineates much of Oregon's northern boundary with Washington, while the Snake River delineates much of its eastern boundary with Idaho. The parallel 42° north delineates the southern boundary with California and Nevada. Oregon is one of only three states of the contiguous United States to have a coastline on the Pacific Ocean.
Oregon was inhabited by many indigenous tribes before Western traders, explorers, and settlers arrived. An autonomous government was formed in the Oregon Country in 1843 before the Oregon Territory was created in 1848. Oregon became the 33rd state on February 14, 1859. Today, at 98,000 square miles (250,000 km2), Oregon is the ninth largest and, with a population of 4 million, 27th most populous U.S. state. The capital, Salem, is the second most populous city in Oregon, with 169,798 residents. Portland, with 647,805, ranks as the 26th among U.S. cities. The Portland metropolitan area, which also includes the city of Vancouver, Washington, to the north, ranks the 25th largest metro area in the nation, with a population of 2,453,168.
