But for specific answers regarding shipping a car to or from Orlando, Florida, read on.

Our steps to booking the shipment of your automobile is simple. It can be divided into 3 parts.

What’s the process for transporting my car from Orlando, Florida? Great question. The first thing is to book your move so your dispatch team can start searching the best move for your car.

They do have to take into consideration the size, weight, height and type of transporter you are requesting, which typically are open and closed carriers.

We will need general details about your vehicle like the VIN number, year, make and model of each vehicle you are shipping. This tells us the details we need to properly move your vehicle on a carrier.

We will give you a free transport quote that is all-inclusive of the entire expense required to move your vehicle from pick up to your destination. Our quotes are guaranteed and do not increase for any reason unless you make changes to your car transport.

The 2nd step in the process is the pick up of the auto. In almost all cases, we do pick up at your home in Orlando, Florida and deliver to the specific destination we were given when you booked your move.

The most common factors that we deal with when picking up from a specific location are local regulations on driving a transporter into the neighborhood. If there are no limitations regarding driving a big rig then we pick up from the destination you provided when you scheduled your transport.

Once your transporter arrives, you will do a inspection of the automobile with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that identifies any existing chips, damage or dents. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Orlando, Florida. Once it’s loaded on the transporter the driver will start the journey to the next stop.

Because a carrier moves more than on auto at a time, he/she may have more pick ups and deliveries to make before your car reaching its final destination.

As the time gets closer for your vehicle to arrive, your driver will contact you. It is difficult for a carrier to know exactly when they will arrive before they get closer to the destination because of the many elements that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long drivers can actually be on the road.

Normally, you should hear from your driver typically within the last 24 hours before your auto is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our customers as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will get there until just a few hours before they get to their destination.

When the vehicle transporter arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was completed when the vehicle was picked up. The transporter will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare pre-existing dents and dings marked during the pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure the car looks good and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.

So transporting your car to or from Orlando, Florida can be a fairly effortless process. We always strive to make sure to make the entire experience pleasant for every customer.

Why should I ship my car to Orlando, Florida?

Relocating your auto may not be the wisest way to transport your vehicle to another city. It puts miles on your vehicle. Depending on the distance you will move it, there can be a lot of wear and tear — and imagine if it something breaks while you’re on your way.

Unforseen breakdowns can cost much more what it will cost you to have an experienced transporter relocate it for you. Not to mention, the days it adds to your drive.

I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!
