Pennsylvania Auto Transport Services

United's network of skilled auto carriers deliver both open and enclosed auto transport services to and from the state of Pennsylvania.

The most popular questions clients have when researching the best auto transport company in Pennsylvania are largely about about the cost and how the car is moved. I’m going to answer those questions in this article.

How Much Does It Cost to Ship My Car To or From Pennsylvania?

The standard price to transport a vehicle within the United States will be dependent on the type of trailer you favor open or enclosed, the distance it will travel, and your pick up and delivery preferences. It costs approximately $2.50 per mile to ship a car less than 200 miles, however costs around 75 cents a mile to ship a standard vehicle 1,000 miles or more.

Some of the factors to consider are:

• how many miles the vehicle must be transported
• the most acceptable time to transport your vehicle
• national cost for fuel
• existing demand for drivers

About Your Quote

When we give you a quote, it will always include all expenses required to deliver your car. Some vehicle transport companies will quote a low price just to get a signature on a contract only to raise the price after you’ve given a deposit, or worse, when your car is being picked up.

Our quotes are all-inclusive and only change if you make changes that increase the cost. Online quote forms can only estimate your actual shipping costs so it’s always best to speak directly to the auto transport company yourself.

Open and Enclosed Carrier Transport

There are multiple types of transport carriers that move our client's vehicles to and from Pennsylvania. We offer both open and enclosed transporters to serve the many needs of our patrons. Below you’ll find a detailed list of the benefits of each.

Open Carrier

Open carrier transport simply means moving your vehicle on a truck that does not provide any enclosure to shield it from everyday environmental elements. This is how most vehicles are transported to car dealerships. It is also the most popular method of transport on the road and a viable way to ship your vehicle.

There are more open carriers available than any other type of transporter so that makes open transport the cheapest way to move your automobile. This also means we have more open transporters traveling through Pennsylvania at any given time so pickup times are often more flexible.

Enclosed Auto Transporters

Moving your vehicle in an enclosed carrier will give you the ultimate confidence. As the name suggests, enclosed car carriers provide the greatest level of protection from weather, elements, rocks or any other threat.

As a bonus, enclosed auto carriers often have more experience with specialty vehicles. The most common vehicles transported in an enclosed carrier are antique, collectible or classic motorcycles and cars. They also transport:

• vehicles from auto auctions
• classic race cars
• auto show transport
• exotic auto show transport
• antique and classic cars (as I mentioned above)

The cost of moving a vehicle on an enclosed carrier is more because there are fewer enclosed trucks on the road and they can not haul as many vehicles on their truck as an open carrier can.

Motorcycle Shipping To or From Pennsylvania

Motorcycle Shipping by UnitedWe do also offer motorcycle and bike shipping across the United States and internationally. We also ship ATVs and dirt bikes door-to-door to almost any location worldwide. Normally motorcycles are moved in an enclosed truck.

So request a quote now! Our team is ready to answer any questions you have and help you move your auto to or from Pennsylvania.

No Deposit Required

Some companies will require a down payment prior to your auto being picked up. We do not. We work hard to arrange your move and don’t request payment until your driver is on their way. This ensures you are only charged the price you agreed upon and no tricky scams because we stick to the quote we provide to move your vehicle.

No matter what you require to move your vehicle to/from Pennsylvania, UNITED's auto transport team will provide you with great customer service, and safe, reliable auto transport services no matter where we deliver for you.

Don't make the same mistake that i did...

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!

I work at a car dealer in town and we have been using United for quite some time. Over the years we have tried many companies and have been burned over and over. These guys aren’t perfect, but they communicate very well and keep us up to date when issues arise.
I have had them deliver many cars to my customer’s and they always have good things to say about this company. I enjoy working with them and I recommend them to other dealers, friends and family. You can’t go wrong when hiring a company like United to ship your vehicles!
