But for specific answers regarding transporting a vehicle to or from Plano, Texas, read on.

Our procedure to scheduling the shipment of your vehicle is streamlined. It can be broken down into three parts.

What’s the process for moving my car from Plano, Texas? Great question. The first step is to book your transport so your dispatch team can start looking the best move for your vehicle.

They do have to consider the size, weight, height and type of carrier you are needing, which primarily are open and closed options.

We will need basic information about your automobile like the VIN number, year, make and model of each auto you are moving. This tells us the details we need to properly move your vehicle on a truck.

We will provide you a free shipping quote that includes all the costs required to transport your car from origin to your destination. Our prices are guaranteed and will not increase for any reason unless there are changes made to your auto transport.

The second step in the process is pick up of the car. In almost all cases, we do pick up at your location in Plano, Texas and deliver to the designated destination we were given when you booked your shipping.

The only things that we run into when picking up from a specific location are local restrictions on getting a big rig into the neighborhood. If there are no regulations regarding driving a big rig then we pick up from the location you provided when you scheduled your transport.

Once your driver arrives, you will do a inspection of the automobile with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that identifies any existing chips, damage or dents. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Plano, Texas. Once it’s loaded on the transporter the driver will start the journey to the next destination.

Because a transporter moves more than on vehicle at a time, he/she may have other pick ups and deliveries to make prior to your car reaching its final destination.

As the time nears for your vehicle to arrive, your transporter will contact you. It is difficult for a carrier to know exactly when they will arrive before they get closer to the drop off point because of the many elements that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long transporters can actually be on the road.

Normally, you should hear from your transporter typically within the last 24 hours before your car is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our clients as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will get there until just a few hours before they get to their destination.

When the vehicle carrier arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was done when the car was picked up. The transporter will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare existing dents and dings identified during the pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure everything is great and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.

So moving your vehicle to or from Plano, Texas can be a fairly effortless process. We always strive to do all we can to make the entire experience pleasant for every customer.

I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!
