But for specific answers regarding moving a automobile to or from Scottsdale, Arizona, read on.

Our process to scheduling the transport of your car is very simple. It can be summed up into 3 steps.

What’s the process for moving my car from Scottsdale, Arizona? Great question. The first step is to schedule your transport so your dispatch team can start planning the best move for your automobile.

They do have to consider the size, weight, height and type of truck you are scheduling, which most customarily are open and closed carriers.

We will need general information about your car like the VIN number, year, make and model of each car you are shipping. This tells us the details we need to properly move your vehicle on a carrier.

We will give you a free shipping quote that includes the entire expense required to transport your car from origin to the drop off point. Our prices are guaranteed and do not increase for any reason unless changes are made to your car transport.

The 2nd step in the process is pick up of your car. In almost all cases, we do pick up at your home in Scottsdale, Arizona and deliver to the specific destination you gave us when you booked your shipping.

The most common issues that we deal with when picking up from a residential address are local restrictions on getting a big rig into the neighborhood. If there are no issues regarding driving a truck then we pick up from the address you provided when you booked your transport.

Once your transporter arrives, you will do a walk around of the vehicle with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that specifies any existing chips, damage or dings. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Scottsdale, Arizona. Once it’s loaded in the transporter the driver will start their journey to the next destination.

Because a driver delivers more than on vehicle at a time, he/she may have other pick ups and deliveries to make before your car arriving at its final destination.

As the time nears for your car to arrive, your driver will contact you. It is difficult for a transporter to know precisely when they will arrive before they get closer to the drop off point because of the many elements that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long drivers can actually be on the road.

Normally, you should hear from your transporter typically within the last 24 hours before your vehicle is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our customers as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will arrive until just a few hours before they get to their destination.

When the vehicle transporter arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was completed when the vehicle was picked up. The driver will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare existing damage identified during your pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure everything is great and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.

So transporting your auto to or from Scottsdale, Arizona can be a reasonably easy process. We always strive to make sure to make the entire process pleasant for every customer.

I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!

Scottsdale is a city in the eastern part of Maricopa County, Arizona, United States, part of the Greater Phoenix Area. Named Scottsdale in 1894 after its founder Winfield Scott, a retired U.S. Army chaplain, the city was incorporated in 1951 with a population of 2,000. The 2015 population of the city was estimated to be 236,839 according to the U.S. Census Bureau.[5]The New York Times described downtown Scottsdale as "a desert version of Miami's South Beach" and as having "plenty of late night partying and a buzzing hotel scene."[6] Its slogan is "The West's Most Western Town."[7]

Scottsdale, 31 miles long and 11.4 miles wide at its widest point, shares boundaries with many other municipalities and entities. On the west, Scottsdale is bordered by Phoenix, Paradise Valley and unincorporated Maricopa County land. Carefree is located along the western boundary, as well as sharing Scottsdale's northern boundary with the Tonto National Forest. To the south Scottsdale is bordered by Tempe. The southern boundary is also occupied by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, which extends along the eastern boundary, which also borders Fountain Hills, the McDowell Mountain Regional Park and more unincorporated Maricopa County land.[8]
