But for specific answers regarding transporting a automobile to or from St. Paul, Minnesota, read on.

Our process to booking the transport of your car is very simple. It can be broken down into 3 steps.

What’s the process for transporting my car from St. Paul, Minnesota? Great question. Our first step is to schedule your move so your transport team can start looking the most ideal transport for your vehicle.

They do have to take into consideration the size, weight, height and type of transporter you are requesting, which most customarily are open and closed options.

We will need basic details about your car like the VIN number, year, make and model of each car you are shipping. This provides the details we need to properly place your vehicle on a transporter.

We will provide you a free transport quote that includes all the costs required to transport your vehicle from pick up to delivery. Our prices are guaranteed and do not change for any reason unless there are changes made to your car transport.

The second step in the process is the pick up of your auto. In almost all cases, we do pick up at your location in St. Paul, Minnesota and deliver to the specified destination provided when you booked your move.

The most common factors that we deal with when picking up from a residential address are local limitations on getting a truck into the area. If there are no limitations regarding driving a truck then we pick up from the destination you gave us when you booked your transport.

Once your transporter arrives, you will do a inspection of the car with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that specifies any existing chips, damage or dents. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from St. Paul, Minnesota. Once it’s loaded on the transporter the driver will start their journey to the next stop.

Because a transporter delivers more than on auto at a time, he/she may have other pick ups and deliveries to make before your car arriving at its final destination.

As the time gets closer for your car to arrive, your carrier will call you. It is difficult for a transporter to know precisely when they will arrive before they get closer to the drop off point because of the many elements that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long drivers can actually be on the road.

Normally, you should be contacted by your transporter typically within the last 24 hours before your vehicle is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our clients as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will arrive until just a few hours before they get to their destination.

When the auto transporter arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was completed when the auto was picked up. The transporter will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare existing dents and dings marked during your pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure everything is great and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.

So transporting your auto to or from St. Paul, Minnesota can be a fairly effortless process. We always strive to do all we can to make the entire experience pleasant for every customer.

I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!

Saint Paul (abbreviated St. Paul) is the capital and second-most populous city of the U.S. state of Minnesota. As of 2017, the city's estimated population was 309,180.[5] Saint Paul is the county seat of Ramsey County, the smallest and most densely populated county in Minnesota.[6] The city lies mostly on the east bank of the Mississippi River in the area surrounding its point of confluence with the Minnesota River, and adjoins Minneapolis, the state's largest city. Known as the "Twin Cities", the two form the core of Minneapolis–Saint Paul, the 16th-largest metropolitan area in the United States, with about 3.6 million residents.[7]

Founded near historic Native American settlements as a trading and transportation center, the city rose to prominence when it was named the capital of the Minnesota Territory in 1849. The Dakota name for Saint Paul is "Imnizaska". Though Minneapolis (Bdeota) is better-known nationally, Saint Paul contains the state government and other important institutions.[8] Regionally, the city is known for the Xcel Energy Center, home of the Minnesota Wild,[9] and for the Science Museum of Minnesota.[10][11] As a business hub of the Upper Midwest, it is the headquarters of companies such as Ecolab.[12] Saint Paul, along with its twin city, Minneapolis, is known for its high literacy rate.[13]
