Most of the concerns regarding moving your automobile are identified in our car shipping blog. It is our pursuit to answer every question you may have about moving your automobile no matter where it’s going.

But for specific answers regarding shipping a vehicle to or from Tampa, Florida, read on.

Our procedure to booking the delivery of your car is streamlined. It can be summed up into 3 steps.

What’s the process for transporting my vehicle from Tampa, Florida? Great question. The first thing is to book your transport so your move team can start searching the most ideal transport for your vehicle.

They do have to take into account the size, weight, height and type of carrier you are requesting, which most customarily are open and closed options.

We will need basic information about your car like the VIN number, year, make and model of each car you are transporting. This tells us the details we need to properly move your vehicle on a transporter.

We will provide you a free shipping quote that is all-inclusive of the entire expense required to ship your car from origin to your destination. Our prices are guaranteed and do not change for any reason unless you make changes to your shipment.

The second step in the process is the pick up of your vehicle. In almost all cases, we will pick up at your home in Tampa, Florida and deliver to the specified destination we were given when you booked your transport.

The most common things that we run into when picking up from a particular place are local laws on getting a transporter into the area. If there are no issues regarding driving a truck then we pick up from the destination you provided when you scheduled your transport.

Once your transporter arrives, you will do a inspection of the vehicle with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that designates any existing chips, damage or dings. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Tampa, Florida. Once it’s loaded on the carrier the driver will start the journey to the next destination.

Because a driver delivers more than on vehicle at a time, he/she may have other pick ups and deliveries to make prior to your car reaching its final destination.

As the time nears for your auto to arrive, your carrier will call you. It is difficult for a transporter to know precisely when they will arrive before they get closer to the destination because of the many variables that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long transporters can actually be on the road.

Normally, you should hear from your driver typically within the last 24 hours before your car is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our clients as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will arrive until just a few hours before they get to their destination.

When the vehicle carrier arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was done when the vehicle was picked up. The transporter will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare existing damage marked during the pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure the car looks good and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.

So transporting your car to or from Tampa, Florida can be a reasonably easy process. We always strive to make sure to make the entire experience pleasant for every customer.

Why should I ship my car to Tampa, Florida?

Relocating your auto may not be the best way to transport your vehicle to another city. It puts high miles on your car. Depending on the distance you will travel, there can be a lot of wear and tear — and imagine if it needs maintenance while you’re on your way.

Unplanned malfunctions can cost way beyond what it will cost you to have an experienced transporter relocate it for you. Not to mention, the delay it adds to your trip.

That’s why we offer convenient door-to-door delivery for all our clients.

Whether you’re moving your car to or from Tampa, Florida, let us help you get it transported safely. We are your reliable auto shipping team and we’re ready to move when you are.

I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!
