Texas Car Shipping Services

United's team of professional drivers provide both open and enclosed auto transport services to and from the state of Texas.

The most popular questions people have when researching the best car shipping company in Texas are largely about about how much and how it’s done. we’ll going to answer those questions now.

How Much Does It Cost to Ship My Car To or From Texas?

The typical price to ship a vehicle within the United States will be dependent on the type of trailer you favor enclosed or open, how far it's going, and your pick up and delivery preferences. It costs approximately $2.50 per mile to move a vehicle less than 200 miles, but costs around 75 cents a mile to ship a standard vehicle 1,000 miles or more.

Some of the things to consider are:

• how many miles the auto must be transported
• the most acceptable time to move your vehicle
• national cost for fuel
• current demand for carriers

About Your Quote

When we give you a quote, it will always be inclusive of all expenses required to deliver your auto. Other vehicle transport companies will tell you a low-ball price just to get an autograph on a contract only to increase the price later, or worse, when your car is being picked up.

Our bids are all-inclusive and only change if you make alterations that affect the cost. Internet quote forms can only guesstimate your real shipping costs so it’s always best to speak directly to the auto transport company yourself.

Open and Enclosed Carrier Transport

There are various types of transport carriers that move our client's vehicles to and from Texas. We offer both open and enclosed carriers to serve the varied needs of our clients. Below you’ll find a detailed list of the benefits of each.

Open Transports

Open auto transport simply means moving your vehicle on a carrier that does not provide any enclosure to protect it from everyday environmental elements. This is the way most cars are transported to car dealerships. It is also the most common type of transport on the road and a safe way to ship your auto.

There are more open carriers available than any other type of transporter so that makes open transport the least expensive manner to transport your automobile. This also means we have more open carriers traveling through Texas at any given time so pickup times are often more flexible.

Enclosed Car Transporters

Moving your auto in an enclosed truck will give you the ultimate peace of mind. As the name suggests, enclosed auto carriers provide the highest degree of protection from weather, elements, rocks or any other possible threat.

As a bonus, enclosed auto carriers often have more experience with expensive vehicles. The most common vehicles shipped in an enclosed carrier are classic, collectible or antique motorcycles and cars. They also transport:

• autos from car auctions
• vintage race cars
• auto show transport
• exotic vehicle show transport
• antique and classic cars (like I mentioned above)

The expense of shipping a vehicle on an enclosed truck is greater because there are fewer enclosed trucks available and they can not transport as many vehicles on their carrier as an open carrier can.

Motorcycle Shipping To or From Texas

Motorcycle Shipping by UnitedWe do also provide motorcycle and bike shipping across the nation and internationally. We also ship ATVs and dirt bikes door-to-door to almost any location worldwide. Typically motorcycles are moved in an enclosed truck.

So request a quote now! Our customer service team is ready to answer any questions you have and help you move your car to or from Texas.

No Deposit Required

Some companies will require a deposit prior to your car being picked up. We do not. We work hard to arrange your move and don’t request payment until your transporter is on their way. This ensures you are only charged the price you agreed to and no slick tricks because we stick to the quote we provide to transport your vehicle.

No matter what you require to move your vehicle to/from Texas, UNITED's auto transport team will provide you with great service, and safe, reliable auto transport services no matter where we deliver for you.

Thanks Joe
Contacted Joe needed to transport my SUV from MD to ATL. Joe took my info and said he would call as soon as he dispatch a driver in several hours he contacted me said he can have my car pickup up that next day Friday and delivered on Saturday. The Driver call right away before the pickup and after. He was very quick and professional.

Don't make the same mistake that i did...

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!

Texas (/ˈtɛksəs/, locally /ˈtɛksɪz/;[9]Spanish: Texas or Tejas Spanish pronunciation: [ˈtexas] (listen)) is the second largest state in the United States by both area and population. Geographically located in the South Central region of the country, Texas shares borders with the U.S. states of Louisiana to the east, Arkansas to the northeast, Oklahoma to the north, New Mexico to the west, and the Mexican states of Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León, and Tamaulipas to the southwest, while the Gulf of Mexico is to the southeast.

Houston is the most populous city in Texas and the fourth largest in the U.S., while San Antonio is the second-most populous in the state and seventh largest in the U.S. Dallas–Fort Worth and Greater Houston are the fourth and fifth largest metropolitan statistical areas in the country, respectively. Other major cities include Austin, the second-most populous state capital in the U.S., and El Paso. Texas is nicknamed "The Lone Star State" to signify its former status as an independent republic, and as a reminder of the state's struggle for independence from Mexico. The "Lone Star" can be found on the Texas state flag and on the Texan state seal.[10] The origin of Texas's name is from the word taysha, which means "friends" in the Caddo language.[11]
