But for specific answers regarding shipping a automobile to or from Toledo, Ohio, read on.

Our steps to scheduling the delivery of your vehicle is simple. It can be broken down into 3 steps.

What’s the process for transporting my vehicle from Toledo, Ohio? Great question. The first thing is to schedule your move so your move team can start looking the most ideal transport for your automobile.

They do have to consider the size, weight, height and type of truck you are scheduling, which primarily are open and closed options.

We will need basic details about your car like the VIN number, year, make and model of each car you are transporting. This tells us the information we need to properly place your vehicle on a carrier.

We will give you a free shipping quote that includes the entire expense required to transport your car from pick up to delivery. Our quotes are guaranteed and will not fluctuate for any reason unless you make changes to your auto transport.

The 2nd step in the process is pick up of the auto. In almost all cases, we will pick up at your doorstep in Toledo, Ohio and deliver to the specified destination we were given when you booked your move.

The most common factors that we run into when picking up from a specific location are local limitations on driving a truck into the neighborhood. If there are no problems regarding driving a big rig then we pick up from the address you provided when you scheduled your transport.

Once your transporter arrives, you will do a inspection of the car with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that specifies any existing chips, damage or dings. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Toledo, Ohio. Once it’s loaded on the transporter the driver will start the journey to the next stop.

Because a carrier moves more than on vehicle at a time, he/she may have multiple pick ups and drop offs to make prior to your car arriving at its final destination.

As the time nears for your car to arrive, your transporter will contact you. It is difficult for a carrier to know exactly when they will arrive before they get closer to the destination because of the many influences that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long transporters can actually be on the road.

Normally, you should hear from your driver typically within the last 24 hours before your car is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our clients as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will arrive until just a few hours before they get to their destination.

When the vehicle carrier arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was done when the car was picked up. The transporter will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare existing damage marked during your pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure everything is great and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.

So moving your auto to or from Toledo, Ohio can be a reasonably easy process. We always strive to ensure to make the entire experience pleasant for every customer.

I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!

Toledo (/təˈliːdoʊ/) is a city in and the county seat of Lucas County, Ohio, United States.[6] Toledo is in northwest Ohio, at the western end of Lake Erie bordering the state of Michigan. The city was founded in 1833 on the west bank of the Maumee River, and originally incorporated as part of Monroe County, Michigan Territory. It was re-founded in 1837, after conclusion of the Toledo War, when it was incorporated in Ohio.

After the 1845 completion of the Miami and Erie Canal, Toledo grew quickly; it also benefited from its position on the railway line between New York City and Chicago. The first of many glass manufacturers arrived in the 1880s, eventually earning Toledo its nickname: "The Glass City." It has since become a city with an art community, auto assembly businesses, education, healthcare, and local sports teams.
