But for specific answers regarding moving a automobile to or from Tucson, Arizona, read on.
Our procedure to booking the delivery of your automobile is very simple. It can be divided into three parts.
1) PRELIMINARY STEPS TO VEHICLE SHIPPING
What’s the process for transporting my car from Tucson, Arizona? Great question. The first step is to schedule your move so your move team can start searching the most ideal transport for your vehicle.
They do have to take into account the size, weight, height and type of carrier you are scheduling, which primarily are open and closed options.
We will need general information about your vehicle like the VIN number, year, make and model of each vehicle you are shipping. This tells us the details we need to properly assign your vehicle on a carrier.
We will provide you a free shipping quote that is all-inclusive of everything required to move your vehicle from pick up to the drop off point. Our prices are guaranteed and will not increase for any reason unless changes are made to your car transport.
2) CAR PICK UP
The 2nd step in the process is pick up of the vehicle. In almost all cases, we do pick up at your location in Tucson, Arizona and deliver to the final destination provided when you booked your shipping.
The most common things that come up when picking up from a specific location are local laws on driving a big rig into the neighborhood. If there are no limitations regarding driving a truck then we pick up from the address you gave us when you booked your transport.
Once your transporter arrives, you will do a inspection of the automobile with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that designates any existing chips, damage or dents. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Tucson, Arizona. Once it’s loaded in the carrier the driver will start the journey to the next destination.
Because a carrier moves more than on car at a time, he/she may have multiple pick ups and drop offs to make prior to your car reaching its final destination.
3) VEHICLE DELIVERY
As the time nears for your vehicle to arrive, your carrier will contact you. It is difficult for a driver to know exactly when they will arrive before they get closer to the drop off point because of the many influences that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long drivers can actually be on the road.
Normally, you should hear from your transporter typically within the last 24 hours before your car is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our clients as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will get there until just a few hours before they get to their destination.
When the vehicle transporter arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was done when the vehicle was picked up. The transporter will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare pre-existing dings and dents identified during the pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure the car looks good and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.
So transporting your vehicle to or from Tucson, Arizona can be a fairly effortless process. We always strive to make sure to make the entire process pleasant for every customer.

We found a great company
I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.
Don't make the same mistake that i did...
I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!
I booked, they picked up and delivered. Everything went smooth and i have noting but good things to say about this company.
Very happy with the service!

Pickup – everything went smooth and driver did a great job!
Delivery – driver called the day before and gave me a time and he showed up as he said he would.
Totally recommend this company!
