Vermont Auto Transport Services

United’s team of professional drivers provide both open and enclosed car shipping services to and from the great state of Vermont.

The most common questions customers have when looking for the best car shipping company in Vermont most commonly about the cost and how the car is moved. I’m going to answer those questions right now.

How Much Does It Cost to Ship My Car To or From Vermont?

The typical price to transport a car within the United States will be dependent on the kind of trailer you favor enclosed or open, how far it’s going, and your pick up and delivery preferences. It costs around $2.50 per mile to ship a car less than 200 miles, but costs around 75 cents a mile to move a standard vehicle 1,000 miles or more.

Some of the things we consider are:

• how many miles the auto must travel
• the most acceptable time to pickup and deliver your auto
• national cost for diesel
• current demand for transporters

Your Quote

The quote you get from us will always include all expenses required to move your vehicle. Some car transport companies will bid a low-ball price just to get an autograph on an agreement only to jack up the price later, or worse, when your car is being picked up.

Our quotes are all-inclusive and only change if you make alterations that increase the cost. Online quote forms can only guesstimate your actual transport costs so it’s always best to speak directly to the vehicle shipping company yourself.

Open and Enclosed Carrier Transport

There are various types of transport carriers that move our client’s vehicles to and from Vermont. We offer both open and enclosed carriers to serve the many needs of our customers. Below you’ll find a detailed list of the benefits of each.

Open Carrier

Open auto transport simply means moving your car on a carrier that doesn’t provide any enclosure to shield it from everyday environmental elements. This is the way most vehicles are delivered to car dealerships. It is also the most popular method of transport on the road and a viable way to move your vehicle.

There are more open carriers on the road than any other type of transporter so that makes them the most economical way to ship your automobile. Plus we have more open transporters traveling through Vermont at any particular time so pickup times are often more flexible.

Enclosed Car Carriers

Shipping your auto in an enclosed truck gives you the ultimate confidence. As the name suggests, enclosed auto carriers provide the highest degree of protection from weather, elements, rocks or any other possible threat.

As a bonus, enclosed auto transporters often have more experience with expensive vehicles. The most common autos moved in an enclosed carrier are antique, collectible or classic cars and motorcycles. They also transport:

• vehicles from car auctions
• vintage race cars
• auto show transport
• exotic vehicle show transport
• antique and classic cars (as I mentioned above)

The cost of moving a car on an enclosed truck is more because there are fewer enclosed trucks available and they can not haul as many autos on their truck as an open transport can.

Motorcycle Shipping From or To Vermont

Motorcycle Shipping by UnitedWe do also offer bike and motorcycle shipping across the nation and internationally. We also ship dirt bikes and ATVs door-to-door to almost any destination worldwide. Normally motorcycles are transported in an enclosed transporter.

No Deposit Required

Some competitors will require a down payment prior to your car being picked up. We will not. We work hard to arrange your transport and don’t request payment until your driver is on their way. This ensures you are only charged the amount you agreed to and no slick tricks because we stick to the quote we provide to move your car.

No matter what you need to move your vehicle to/from Vermont, UNITED’s auto transport team will provide you with great customer service, and safe, reliable auto transport services no matter where we deliver for you.

I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!

Vermont (/vərˈmɒnt, vɜːr-/ (listen))[7] is a state in the New England region of the northeastern United States. It borders the U.S. states of Massachusetts to the south, New Hampshire to the east, New York to the west, and the Canadian province of Quebec to the north. Vermont is the second-smallest by population and the sixth-smallest by area of the 50 U.S. states. The state capital is Montpelier, the least populous state capital in the United States. The most populous city, Burlington, is the least populous city to be the most populous city in a state. As of 2015, Vermont was the leading producer of maple syrup in the United States.[8] In crime statistics, it was ranked as the safest state in the country in 2016.[9]

For thousands of years, indigenous peoples, including the Mohawk and the Algonquian-speaking Abenaki, occupied much of the territory that is now Vermont and was later claimed by France’s colony of New France. France ceded the territory to Great Britain after being defeated in 1763 in the Seven Years’ War. Thereafter, the nearby colonies, especially the provinces of New Hampshire and New York, disputed the extent of the area called the New Hampshire Grants to the west of the Connecticut River, encompassing present-day Vermont. The provincial government of New York sold land grants to settlers in the region, which conflicted with earlier grants from the government of New Hampshire. The Green Mountain Boys militia protected the interests of the established New Hampshire land grant settlers against the newly arrived settlers with land titles granted by New York.
