Most of the questions regarding transporting your car are answered in our car shipping blog. It is our goal to help you with every question you may have about shipping your car no matter where it’s destination may be.

But for specific answers regarding shipping a vehicle to or from Glendale, Arizona, read on.

Our process to booking the delivery of your car is simple. It can be divided into 3 parts.

What’s the process for moving my car from Glendale, Arizona? Great question. The first thing is to schedule your move so your move team can start planning the most ideal transport for your car.

They do have to take into account the size, weight, height and type of transporter you are requesting, which most customarily are open and closed options.

We will need basic information about your automobile like the VIN number, year, make and model of each auto you are shipping. This tells us the information we need to properly move your vehicle on a carrier.

We will provide you a free shipping quote that includes all the costs required to ship your car from origin to delivery. Our quotes are guaranteed and do not increase for any reason unless there are changes made to your car transport.

The second step in the process is pick up of your auto. In almost all cases, we will pick up at your doorstep in Glendale, Arizona and deliver to the specified destination you gave us when you booked your shipping.

The most common issues that come up when picking up from a specific location are local limitations on driving a truck into the neighborhood. If there are no problems regarding driving a big rig then we pick up from the location you provided when you scheduled your transport.

Once your transporter arrives, you will do a walk around of the vehicle with the driver. You both will sign the Bill of Lading that identifies any existing chips, damage or dings. After you receive a copy of your Bill of Lading, they will load the vehicle, secure it and prepare it for transport from Glendale, Arizona. Once it’s loaded in the transporter the driver will start their journey to the next stop.

Because a driver moves more than on auto at a time, he/she may have multiple pick ups and deliveries to make prior to your car arriving at its final destination.

As the time nears for your auto to arrive, your transporter will contact you. It is difficult for a driver to know exactly when they will arrive before they get closer to the destination because of the many influences that can slow their progress. This includes traffic, weather and federal guidelines regarding rest and how long transporters can actually be on the road.

Normally, you should be contacted by your transporter typically within the last 24 hours before your auto is scheduled to arrive. Although we have made it clear to our drivers we prefer as much advance notice for our clients as possible, we do know sometimes they don’t know when they will get there until just a few hours before they get to their destination.

When the vehicle carrier arrives, you will repeat the same inspection that was completed when the vehicle was picked up. The transporter will have a copy of the Bill of Lading for you to compare existing dings and dents marked during the pick up inspection. You’ll look over the car again to ensure everything is great and then sign the document. The driver will give you a copy for your records.

So transporting your vehicle to or from Glendale, Arizona can be a fairly easy process. We always strive to do all we can to make the entire process pleasant for every customer.

Why should I ship my car to Glendale, Arizona?

Driving your auto may not be the wisest way to transport your vehicle to another city. It puts many miles on your vehicle. Depending on the miles you will travel, there can be a lot of wear and tear — and just imagine if it something needs to be fixed while you’re on your way.

Unforseen breakdowns can cost far more what it will cost you to have an experienced carrier move it for you. Not to mention, the delay it adds to your drive.

That’s why we offer convenient door-to-door delivery for all our customers.

Whether you’re moving your car to or from Glendale, Arizona, let us help you get it moved safely. We are your dependable auto transport team and we’re ready to move when you are.

I work for a high-end car dealer and we have been using United for some time now. Every time we shipping a car we get quotes from a few different companies, but we always seem to come back to these guys. They always have a good price and we know that they are going to do a fantastic job. Over the years we have had some minor issues, but the great thing about these guys is that they communicate well and solve the problems. I defiantly recommend these guys for shipping your vehicles.

I don’t know why i have to learn things the hard way:( I went with the cheapest company and they didn’t show up to pick up my car. I tried calling them all day long and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I had already given them a deposit and so then i had to go through the hassle of doing a chargeback. They had four-stars, so i thought i was good. I started calling around and i found joe with United Car Shipping. He was really nice and explained why the other company couldn’t get a driver to pick up my car. Joe was awesome and he got a driver to come out the next day. Everything worked out and i was very happy with this company. I ended up paying a couple hundred dollars more, and it was worth it! These guys are really nice and the understand how to communicate. Thumbs up for United!

Glendale /ˈɡlɛndeɪl/ is a city in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States, located about nine miles (14 km) northwest from Downtown Phoenix. According to the 2017 U.S. Census estimates, the population of the city is 246,709.[3]

In the late 1800s what is now known as Glendale, Arizona, was all desert. William John Murphy, a native of New Hartford, New York, who resided in the town of Flagstaff in what was then known as the territory of Arizona, was in charge of building a 40-mile-long (64 km) Arizona Canal from Granite Reef to New River for the Arizona Canal Company. In 1885, he completed the canal, which would bring water to the desert land.[5] Murphy was deep in debt, since he had agreed to be paid in Arizona Canal Company stock and bonds and land instead of cash.[6]
