Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut Enclosed Auto Transport

Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut is also the fastest vehicle that Koenigsegg has ever made, according to Koenigsegg. If there is one car Koenigsegg is going to build that is going to be the fastest Swedish automaker has built, it is also that one. Koenigsegg does not even need to name the brand-new Jesko Absolut as the fastest car in the world, because being the worlds fastest Koenigsegg, it is automatically the fastest car in the world. With 1600hp, aerodynamic contours, and wings that look like a fighter plane, the all-new Jesko Absolut debuted as a complete speed machine, the fastest Koenigsegg ever, and the one that always will be.

Even the Jesko Absoluts basic bodywork is like the fuselage of a fighter jet, and the rear of the Jesko Absolut features a stretched-out cowl. At the core of the Jesko Absolut is the 1,600-hp (when running on E85 fuel), twin-turbocharged V8 fitted with a 180-degree crankshaft, which allows for a 8,500-rpm rev limit. A more conventional exotic, the Koenigsegg features a twin-turbocharged V8 engine displacing electric motors or an innovative camless motor.

All this equates to a car that is undoubtedly capable of achieving a record-breaking top speed, particularly since Koenigsegg is producing not only a new Koenigsegg Jesko, but also the Jesko Absolut, whose emphasis is on high speeds. The version that Koenigsegg is taking to the track is an even more speed-focused Absolut model, which is expected to be the fastest Koenigsegg car to date. The Jesko Absolut is expected to break the 300mph barrier, while Koenigsegg has said that they would never try to make a faster car. The Jesko is the fastest car that Koenigsegg has ever made, and the company will never try to build a faster series-production road car — ever.

At the time it was released, it was the most powerful vehicle of Koenigseggs Agera range, clocking in at 284.5 miles per hour. The car reached a top speed of 240.3 mph, making it the quickest on Earth during 1998.

Thanks to its well-placed trio of electric motors, with two powering the rear wheels and one driving the front axle, the Gemera, with its four seats, could hit freeway speeds in less than two seconds. Like its Absolut predecessor, Koenigseggs Jesko Absolut uses the companys 9-speed Light-speed gearbox, ceramic brakes, front-lifting system, and an electronic limited-slip differential. The engine is connected to the Jesko and produces nine-speed Light Speed Transmission (LST) systems that allow gear changes in virtually zero time from any gear to any other gear – no matter how many gears are skipped. Ultimate Power On Demand (UPOD) – predictive gear-change technology that ensures instant, prolific power and is always available in the correct gear for maximum acceleration – is part of the control strategy for the Jesko Absolut. The rear hood is extended, covers the rear wheels, lowers the ride height and removes the front wheel louvres and the front hoods closed air ducts – compared to the track-focused Jesko. Now, you might have heard about the fast dual-clutch transmission.

The car needs to slice through the air like a knife, so all of the wings and splitters that generate downforce in a standard Jesko are removed in the Absolute. The active rear wings of the worlds first Mega GT, for instance, are gone, with Koenigsegg engineers taking their inspiration from the F-15 fighter planes instead, hence the longer tail and the rudder. Instead, the brand-new Jesko Absolut adopts a pair of F-15-inspired winglets, which more efficiently direct the air flowing past the back of the car, to improve stability at speed.

Whereas his previous-generation Hypercar helped keep the car stuck on every curve and track nuances, Jesko Absoluts every surface has been optimized for reduced drag and turbulent flow, while increasing stability at high speeds. The reduced drag combined with the frontal area of 1.88m2 combined with the minimum power of 1,600bhp makes the Jesko Absolut bound for higher, more remarkable speeds than either Jesko, or any other homologated full-rate vehicle prior to the Jesko Absolut. For the time being, the brand-new Jesko Absolut is Koenigseggs fastest car yet, the cutting-edge evolution from world-record-breakers such as their last-generation Hypercars and the Agera RS. Shortly after watching a winged Jesko Attack tear across the snow, the Swedish carmaker showed off the cars sibling, the winged, eventually-refined Absolut.

The interior of the Absolut is nearly identical to that of the bewinged Jesko Attack, featuring a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 making 1600 horsepower and 1,107 pound-feet. While Koenigsegg uses a custom-made triplex suspension, the Absolut models feature a somewhat more normal setup, freeing up some room under the bonnet.

In addition to the predecessor to the Absolut, Koenigsegg has one other vehicle scheduled to be shown at Geneva Auto Show (just 17 hours away, including ferry ride, from Koenigseggs home base of Angelholm, Sweden).

Named after Koenigseggs father, Christian, the worlds first Mega GT debuted at the Geneva motor show last year, usurping the Agera RS as Koenigseggs performance benchmark in the process. As corny as that term is, it is not unreasonable that the companys founder and CEO, Christian von Koenigsegg, would refer to the new Gemera as an entirely new class of vehicle, one in which extreme megacars are combined with roomy interiors and extreme ecological awareness, which is, if nothing else, an absolute ecological conscience, at the very least, given how quickly the Porsche Panamera GTS and BMW M8 Gran Coupe. The monumental V8s powering each of the Koenigseggs from the very first CC8S through the current Jesko First CC8S are taken largely as read, as are the bafflingly high-power figures Christians team has managed to squeeze out of each of them.
