Ram Electric Car Services – Shipping A Electric Vehicle

Rams all-electric pickup trucks are set to be introduced in 2024, following the all-electric Ram ProMaster cargo van that is coming out next year. The Ram brand created the Ram Revolution to take consumers on its journey with the Ram 1500 battery-electric vehicle set for release in 2024.

Ram Trucks is committed to electrifying all its car segments by 2030, the latest target date. In early July 2021, the Stellantis Group unveiled their EV strategy, which announced, among others, that Ram will market an electric-powered version of their Ram 1500 pickup truck in 2024. Ram Trucks, a U.S.-based commercial vehicle affiliate of the Stellantis Group, announced that it will be selling an electric battery-electric version of its Ram 1500 pickup truck for 2024, and showed off the first teaser.

The carmaker Stellantis has also announced Amazon will be the first commercial customer of its Ram ProMaster battery-electric car. While Stellantis has not formally revealed the Ram ProMaster delivery van, it is expected that Amazon will become the first commercial customer when it finally goes into production. Stellantis has yet to disclose any details on the Stellantis electric delivery van, but is expected to build upon the updated Ram ProMaster model for 2022, which was revealed last August.

Over the last month, not only has it revealed plans to introduce a fully electric version of its Ram 1500 pickup, it has announced Amazons Prime Delivery Service will acquire thousands of new, fully electric ProMaster brand-named vans from Ram. Stellantis — The carmaker that was previously known to us as Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles, or FCA — has announced that the company has made an overall commitment to electric vehicles (EVs), including the all-electric Ram 1500, which is expected to hit the market in 2024. As part of Stellantis EV Day, its American truck division, Ram, announced that it would begin switching to EVs starting in 2024. Ram CEO Mike Koval announced, with an odd cadence of volumes, that the RAM 1500 BEV, the trucks American-division vehicle, would be Rams first all-electric offering, and would begin production in 2024.

When it is released later this year, the Ram 1500 EV will be one of a handful of electric trucks that are available to customers, including the Ford F-150 Lightning and Rivian R1T. Among companies with more time on their clock, Ford unveiled its own electric F-150 pickup truck back in May, while Stellantis Ram brand plans to begin selling its own electric pickup truck in 2024. The RAM electric pickup also would follow the launch of EV trucks by Rivian Automotive Inc., which has begun delivery of its Rivian Automotive Inc. R1T truck; by Ford Motor Co., which launched its F-150 Lightning in the spring; and by GM Co., which is already building an EV pickup, the GMC Hummer, and is set to introduce its EV Chevy Silverado pickup, the electric Chevy Silverado, an electric Chevy Silverado, early next year. Rams electric pickup truck is two years away, but Rams is giving the public a tease with the concept car, and a chance to share what it wants in EVs.

Rams electric pickup is expected to be based on an Auburn Hills-developed platform, the STLA Framework, that Rams said would provide 500 miles of range from 159 to over 200 kilowatt hours. We can assume that the base platform and electric truck drivetrain will be similar to the one on Rams next electric pickup, competing against Chevys Silverado Electric and the Ford F-150 Lightning. Ramas confirmed plans for the electric Ram 1500, while it has also teased plans for EV pickup trucks in heavy duty and EV Dakota alternatives.

Ramas new, fully electric 1500 pickup is scheduled to join its 2024 model line, but there are already rumors about an electric heavy-duty Ram and an electric Dakota replacement. Stellantis executives say that Ramas new all-electric 1500 pickup, along with the other electric vehicles planned for its lineup, will rule this segment, but without a concept or a production vehicle to back up those claims, thereas little evidence. What it does mean is all three are going to get EV options very soon — although weare not sure whether a fully electric Ram 1500 or Chevyas next battery-powered Silverado is going to hit the sales floor first.

Amazon has purchased tens of thousands of delivery vehicles powered by fossil fuels from Stellantis global car brands over the past few years, including Ram freight vans as well as vehicles from Fiat, Peugeot, and Citroen. Ram also sells cargo vans, a full-size ProMaster and the compact ProMaster City. Ram is also making the ProMaster Electric Delivery Van, which will enter Amazons fleet starting in 2023. As part of its separate deal with Stellantis, Amazon will be the first commercial customer of the new Ram ProMaster battery-electric vehicle (BEV) from Stellantis, which is scheduled to be launched in 2023.

The deal is one part in a number of deals between Amazon and Stellantis, Rams parent company, which formed last year as the result of a merger of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Peugeot manufacturer PSA Group. In addition, Amazon and Ram parent Stellantis agreed to collaborate on software for Stellantis SmartCockpit, a system that will provide features to vehicles worldwide starting in 2024 for Stellantis vehicles, according to a statement on Wednesday. In addition to the deal for the Ram ProMaster, Amazon and Stellantis announced the two would also be working together on developing in-vehicle software for the lineup of vehicles from Stellantis – including Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. Amazon, which is also backing EV startup Rivian, has been using Ram and other Ram-parent company Stellantis light-duty vehicles, like Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Peugeot maker PSA Group, and Citroen, since 2018.

With the new Ram 1500 EV, Stellantis truck brand hopes to ease buyers concerns about the truck with a version of the truck that it has called REPB, or the range-extended battery-electric paradigm disrupter.
