While Carlisle’s Corvette is advertised as a Corvette event, the event is open to all ages and non-Corvette owners. Carlisle’s Corvette is arguably the largest Corvette show/conference in the world. If you love a Corvette but don’t own it, it’s a great excuse to go out and see the many Chevrolet Corvettes around the world.
The Corvette Funfest, hosted by MidAmerica Motorworks, is celebrating its 25th anniversary, where we will be installing all the Corvettes (C6 and C7 of course). Carlisle’s Corvette is the largest and most interesting Corvette showroom in the world.

When planning our yearly calendar, we always make sure Corvette in Carlisle is the first show we add to the list. Carlisle Events Corvettes at Carlisle is held at the Carlisle Fairgrounds in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and is the largest gathering of Chevy Corvettes in the world. Corvettes at Carlisle will take place August 22-25, 2019 in Carlisle, PA and will be hosted by Carlisle Events and Corvette America.
This Corvette Carlisle Events show for car lovers still holds the title of “World’s Greatest Corvette Themed Weekend”. Corvette fans are thrilled to be back in Carlisle, Pennsylvania for what many consider the event of the year. Perhaps one of the most exciting Corvette events in Carlisle this year is the lottery.
The largest event of its kind in the world, the Corvette at Carlisle, was chained to the Vette. Old cars, new cars, new products and Corvette performance tests, the 2017 show had it all. Some of the cars on display this year include a showcase dedicated to the Callaway Aerobody Corvette, a 1971 Corvette approaching its 50th anniversary, and a Grand Sport Corvette celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Chips Choice for this year’s event is a tribute to law enforcement and the Corvettes they own, display and drive. Last year, they outfitted 127 cars to create an all-Corvette flag of the United States, complete with a silver Corvette for the flagpole and a yellow Corvette for the top of the flagpole.
Their website was very professional and up to date, full of useful information. One email had everything I needed to know, including a contact number where I could get more information or confirm the shipment.

The fair will be crowded and offer a huge car flea market with a wide selection of vendors, Corvette car body and more. The hype continues with an incredible component buying experience including an automotive flea market with a wide range of vendors, an all-Corvette car body and Midway manufacturers. Events added early enough will be advertised in the museums e-mail newsletter (NCM eNews) as part of the monthly list of upcoming exhibitions and in the Americas Sports Car museum member magazine.

You’ll see hundreds of Corvettes from every model year, as well as rare original factory Corvettes and classic racing series. The exhibit features 5,000 unique Corvettes from all generations. Considered one of the largest single-brand auto shows in the world, the show is fast becoming a meeting point for any serious Corvette guru in mid-summer. One of the “Four Kings” was a 1966 factory heavy-duty Corvette race car, the first known Corvette for the Chinettis NART team, the first with shoulder straps (introduced as an option in 1966), the first known Two fresh air hoods for special exhausts will soon become a Chevrolet racing hallmark.
After the car was complete, the car underwent a reshuffle at the General Motors Technical Center on Sunday afternoon under the direction of Zora Arkus-Duntov before being shipped to New York, where it was loaded into a NART transporter waiting to be bound for Sebring superior. Since then, the car has received a number of major accolades, including participation in the 2014 Corvette of the Year, Muscle Cars and Corvette Nationals Race Cars Invitational at the Carlisle Race Car Reunion, the 2016 MCACN Corvette Legends Invitational and Bloomington Gold Show, and the 2016 and 2020 Special collect.
